There seems to be a confusion here that if you are not screaming Ole out, then you are some Ole mega fan who thinks he'll win use the league this season.

I think the truth is that most of us don't think he is the second coming, but are hoping the club finds some stability that can be used as a platform to change, with or without Ole.

I was just listening to a United fan on the 606 phone-in. He said he'd been supporting the club for 40 years but is now looking for a new club to support as United will be mid-table for years. When asked who his new club will be, he said probably his local team... Leeds. I really hope it was a rival fan on the wind-up.

If he was on the wind up he chose a strange time period... I might be wrong, but 40 years ago would put us in the Dave Sexton period, which was only marginally less boring to watch than Van Gaal or Mourinho, and meant we would have been in a spell of not having won the league for 13 years, which is longer than the current run.

He's either a crap wind up merchant or a crap glory hunter.
