Weird Season to continue

I know we are only 4 games in but I just have a funny feeling about this season. Granted this weekend's results were a bit weird but I can't help thinking this season is gonna be like the one than Leicester won it.

As we are seeing more and more clubs are losing players to covid, while i'm not expecting another shut down, It could be interesting to see just how long it physically impacts players re their recovery. Add to the mix a disjointed pre season, lack of a home field advantage and the fact that while a lot of money has been spent I'm not totally convinced some of the bigger teams have really addressed their most pressing issues.

Was chatting to mate this am who said we wanted odds on Liverpool and City not being the top 2.....Thought it was interesting.

So here's the question, with Everton, Spurs and Arsenal all benefitting from a better window than most expected & a first full season for new managers, Leicester a bit below the radar, Villa looking incredibly well balanced and Leeds looking like they might take the league by storm.... could we see a changing of the guard ??

I know on paper Liverpool and City still look the best teams but sometimes its hard to repeat the amazing achievements of the past couple of years.... Sometimes it becomes a phycological thing rather than a physical/ talent issue.

What say you ? Is this the year the Likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, Villa, Leeds (All big clubs) upset the odds ?

Didn`t Spurs stuff Arsenal the last time the two teams met

I wouldn't call losing away from home 2-1 a stuffing at all.

Well you still didn`t get any points. Yet you keep waffling on about being better than Spurs despite finishing behind them yet again last season, and failing to win either of the two games against them. Seems a bit of a strange thing to say you are better than them with those stats.

At no point did I say we were better than Spurs, i was saying that its highly unlikely that Spurs will win the title, like u said. You started chatting chit about AFC,but now that u mentioned that, didn't u JUST say above that last season doesn't mean anything in relation to point gaps being made? So why is that rule different for us, regarding it was only 3 point gap last season? Surely its not preposterous that we can make top 4 then and possibly finish above Spurs?

Best 11s city and pool are way ahead. Issue is with covid and possible cancellations/fixture congestion, teams could play lots of games with no where near their strongest 11. Could be a total lottery tbh.

Think the champs will lose way more games than in previous seasons though. League is also far tougher.

Doesn't matter how good a first 11 it is if the replacements are gash

Adrian wins trophy in SC game and then sets the record for worst ever PL loss.

As I said, there are so many reasons teams could be depleted it's a lottery. Any team losing 3-4 key players is a shadow of itself, Liverpool and city included.

With their best teams out they are still a level above though.

So having a good squad is key, seems they don’t have the depth like many others.
