Would be awful news if a serious injury, but sounds like it's just a knock.
Imo he is going to be crucial in us playing on the front foot and putting in performances like against United. Looks a superb signing.

Reading the BBC match report, you would think he didn't even play.
Wolves and Leeds ( of course ) players mentioned but nothing on our guy.
So was blissfully unaware of any injury until reading this post. Thanks BBC for your usual in depth reporting.

I saw the game and he looked to be in abit of pain after receiving the knock but carried on walking afterwards. Hopefully it is just an impact injury and he will be ok.

Quote from a spanish rag :
Reguilón hay que esperar. No es nada grave, es un golpe que tienen que ver los médicos. Espero que no se complique", reconoció Luis Enrique.
Which translates to :
Reguilón we have to wait. It is nothing serious, it is a blow that doctors have to see. I hope it doesn't get complicated, "acknowledged Luis Enrique.
For some reason the article does not include the "nothing serious" part. So it does look like just a knock which hopefully means he will be rested on Saturday for their next game.

Why are they playing friendlies when the have this Nations Cup comp.
England play tonight in a meaningless friendly. Why not in these circumstances just scrap friendlies. Training is fine. Then play the UEFA Nations games as 'competitive friendlies'.
UEFA and the major national FAs have no regard for the safety and well being of players. It is all down to money.
