I’m sure we’ve all see people on our social media peddle some absolute tosh over the past few months regarding the ‘truth’ behind all this.
I’ve deleted people off Facebook who have all manner of delusions ...
For example
The Bill gates rubbish - thinking a guy who (rightfully) reckons vaccinating people in African countries will make them healthier and eventually lead to less reliance of families needing loads of kids to support the family and thus stopping exponential population growth reaching unsustainable levels is actually a eugenist who seeks to make loads of money off this.
People have - and I have to stop laughing here - said that the masks are a scheme to kidnap millions of UK children and take them away to paedo islands. Do kids even have to wear masks? You challenge these people and then get called paedos. Sigh. Whoever is behind these theories knows how emotive they subject of children is and how logic goes out the window when the ‘threat’ of anything happens to them is there.
There’s a woman called Kate Sherimani who is the leader of the anti lockdown movement in the UK who once you scratch below the rhetoric actually believes the vaccine is the mark of Satan and an attempt to to alter our DNA.
I’ve seen (many) people put forward a theory that all the asylum seekers arriving on boats into the UK are taken to army barracks and trained to be soldiers in the upcoming NWO
Fwiw I think there are some valid points regarding an end to lockdowns generally speaking and after 8 months of this I think we know more about the virus to perhaps find better ways to live with it (though I’m happy to wear a mask and socially distance etc - it’s less of an issue in Australia tbf) but the loons above are ruining any fair debate about this and I guess the idle time these people have on their hands have taken them down some freakish rabbit holes.

Biggest conspiracy is the disease itself
Yes it exists, yes it kills....but the WHO believe true infection numbers are around 800m globally
Total attributable deaths equals 1m or 0.125% and that’s before you get into issues in the UK and US of attributing suspected but not confirmed deaths to covid
