Football through a pandemic continues today with today's home game against bottom of the table Grimsby town in front of empty stands at the unibol. A shame really as this fixture had a ring around it on my fixture list as the first game we as fans could attend a home game since back on 29th Feb against Accrington until bj moved the goalposts. Today's opponent's Grimsby since losing their 2 opening games have been unable to play or train for 2 weeks so will either be a. Undercooked, b.Fit and fresh, a good excuse for either manager to use after the game. Grimsby have 2 new signings available today. Forward Owen Windsor on loan from wba, and winger kyle Bennett on loan from bristol rovers. As usual don't underestimate a side managed by man Holloway. Team news. Long term injured politic, Edwards, faal, white and Jones added to that list the last 2 games out around 6 weeks, isgrove and miller building up their fitness for the next 2 weeks. Baptiste is available again and Hickman is likely to replace Jones so that could be 2 changes from the side that beat Harrogate.

I don't see brockbank as an issue. Keep him in the back 3, that's his best position. Wing back is a different job.

A win today is needed, otherwise Evatts timeframe for getting over our poor start will be going through the window. Four points out of six, despite the poor showing last weekend is a good start. Everything is crossed for a good win against the bottom of the league.
