I watched Bruno last night v France. The worst of the Portuguese team. Man needs a break. Pogba was also his usual disinterested self. Ole needs to make the tough call of resting both.

Zero fear factor going up agains Man Utd now. That and the fact the opposition are generally better coached does not make me optimistic

Think Utd have one of those Space Jam aliens running around Carrington, must explain why every player we sign is amazing for their former club but as soon as we get hold of them after a while have the talent sucked out of them and turn into Sunday league players.

That or coaching is atrocious.

Having considered both posited suggestions in some depth, I think the issue is the coaching. It really is a serious issue as well.

Might be an unpopular opinion but the only time post SAF we were properly coached was when LVG was in charge. You knew what he wanted his players to do, ok didn’t quite work with the really boring football and signed the wrong players, but if we hired someone with a similar philosophy, maybe we could have improved and not be a team so terrible in possession, ball control and movement as we are today. Technically Utd are not very good and haven’t been since.

Instead hired Jose who pretty much told them to forget possession football, short passing and go the compete opposite.
