We scraped a win against Kelty last night. Edwards scored.

Worryingly we put out a strong team.

Apparently it's been a "hard ten days" playing against Brechin, Peterhead and Kelty. Not sure what they'd describe it as if we were playing against good teams.

The last ten days have certainly helped diminish any optimism I might have been feeling about the season ahead. The insistence on continuing with a midfield trio of Butcher, Harkes and Pawlett is mind-blowing to be honest. It hasn't worked, it doesn't work and it won't work.

I'm not looking forward to playing Aberdeen on Saturday as I can't see where we're going to find a performance from, particularly as I'm not sure either of our new signings are available.

As ever, Mon the Terrors, but it's all a bit meh at the moment.

these games can be quite tough and tricky at the best of times tbh, so u can see how in the current climate they are even less appealing.

football isn't good just now, i thought i would get some enjoyment out of it but every game just feels like a friendly.

I'm struggling to find any passion for it tbh.

Normally the pre-season break creates that kind of excitement to get back into it and it sustains you for a while, but it wasn't there this year and the excitement has never returned.

It's frustrating because we sat through five years of utter horsesheidt and every year I said to my old man "it'll be worth it when we get back up". And now it isn't. Everything about it is just pash.

I hear you mate, once in a lifetime going for 9 and then 10.

should have been glorious to win 9 and if we do get ten in this way it will be just as schite.

if clubs didn't need the money i'd be happy for them to postpone it

Three centre-halves, a midfield trio of Harkes, Pawlett and Butcher. No wonder people are up for jumping off the Tay Bridge.

Transfer windows, loan signings and turning the reserve league into an U21 league some years ago, all problems coming back to roost now.

Big Tony and his contacts. More like a white stick imo. Where's the left winger, creative midfielder and big targetman? Yet we sign a centre-half who'll run Julian Alsford close.

Harkes runs about but I'd rather have Siggi Jonsson or Jim Bett at the age they are now than Harkes. Butcher is nothing in midfield put him back at centre-half. Pawlett is finished, King meanwhile has a long contract like Connolly, christ panto season must be upon us.

I would agree with all of that.

First thing I put in my group chat was the fact we were effectively playing 5 at the back vs Kelty Hearts, and that's not a positive.

The midfield trio is just a disaster imo.

And Robson talking about a clean sheet against a non league team as if it was an achievement.
Keep reading how we’re without McNulty and Fuchs.
Neither have kicked a ball yet and we have no idea what they’ll bring.
