Financially it's a good idea.
In a football sense it is a good idea.
From a fans perspective it's a great idea.
I'm so proud of our record with youth players, it started even earlier than George who was mentioned in the article.
I saw the Busby babes, and some of them making their debuts.
How good it would be to get most of the team coming through the academy, and winning things of course.
Our academy is looking great for the future

Oh he is.

Ed is like the 100,000 monkeys with typewriters over 100,000 years, at one point they’ll write Shakespeare, and at one point the odds will be Ed gets it right be accident.

Actually I wish I'd used a different title. Everyone is concentrating on Ed rather than the article

Fixed it

reads like another puff piece from the united PR department, though whether the final line is brazen self-promotion or savage parody i couldn't work out. either way i couldn't stop laughing at:
It seems a smart policy from Woodward and United’s football brains trust.

It’s a decent policy, even if one of them only becomes just a squad player, it more than pays for itself with the money the club saves from not having to spend on filling that squad place. Finding good loans for our academy players needs to be the next thing.

Sorry MU52!
In isolation, everyone should be excited about seeing the club hoovering up some of Europe’s top young talent

Ole is changing the mentality of this club. Believe me, we will all be talking about Ole's babes in 20 years.

Ole wouldn’t have had much, it any, influence on these academy signings.

Good to see the club backing the academy.
