No one said it was intentionally just totally reckless.

Like the player who tried to backheel a ball that was head height the other week. It’s reckless, and worthy of a red.

Agree. No need to write to the PL though is there? Have a club ever done that after the numerous times a player has got a yellow (or nothing) for bad tackles?

Just because other clubs just accept it, doesn’t mean everyone has to. Should be held accountable. They hold players and clubs accountable, officials should be too.

Yes. This is a direct quote from the FAs laws of the game page.

"A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play."
