Its another day at training. Do you think mike phelan and other trainers demand certain players practice taking shots.
I have never seen a pro footballer whose shooting is so atrocious. For years, we had Valencia not use his left leg and we wondered what happened in training. How does a footballer paid so much have such tame passing (really a pass not a shot) with either of his legs. Even greenwood, the young Professional packs rockets in both legs.
If fred could at least shoot once in a while effectively, his energy and running would give him at least 10 goals per season

His insistence on trying to hit long distance shots with his right foot even though he clearly doesn't have one drives me insane. There was one moment on Saturday at 1-0 down where he tried a 25 yard volley on his right ffs.

Freds a poor player. His dynamism makes him a useful alternative to Matic but we can do a lot better.

Fred is a pub player. I have seen league 1 level players with better passing ability, spatial awareness and shooting.

I am far more concerned about our defensive coaching than anyone else.
You are taught the basics at school such as to stay goal side of the player you are marking.
Yet again Lindelof goes the other side and gets skinned and it leads to the Newcastle goal.
