OK, now that the dust has settled

on yesterdays dramatic last 10 minute collapse, we move on. Nothing will change my mind though that Spurs will be crowned Champions come May. Right got that off my chest, now onto Thursday.

On to LASK on Thursday, I would be inclined to start the same team that finished yesterday (sadly that will include Winks ), let them get yesterday`s result out of their system with a thumping win, then they can all move on with no lasting damage.

Don`t know anything about the opposition, but I suppose whilst they will give Spurs a game, they should be beaten with a bit to spare. All need to get behind the club, eight games unbeaten, and frankly I can see the unbeaten run stretching a long, long way. Nobody to fear really. Spurs have one of the deadliest attacks in Europe, and just cut out the silly late free kicks, and all should be fine, that much I am sure about. Silly to get to downbeat after just five games, and sitting handily in the table.

After yesterday we had the usual meltdown when Spurs don`t win, Kane will leave, Son will leave, blah, blah, blah. Honestly our supporters need to realise that not all games go exactly to plan. I didn`t see any moaning at half-time when Spurs were 3-0 up. Amusingly one of our supporters has called supporters of the club and Jose cultists, you couldn`t make it up. Is that what supporting your club and manager has become, a cult? I am not sure football is for that so called supporter. I shall not name him, he knows who he is.

Anyway I am expecting a thumping victory on Thursday, and get the show back on the road again. I don`t stay miserable for long. It is after all only a game.

Spurs luck will turn for the better soon. Only last minute strikes have stopped Spurs from having 12 points on the board and sitting near to the top of the table. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Expect Spurs to blow away most teams this season.

You keep banging on about how Spurs are nailed on title winners yet you've not won a home game this season in the league and dropping points against Newcastle and West Ham is very, very poor. I understand teams are likely to drop points throughout the season, but Spurs have already dropped 7 points in 5 games which for me, isn't going to be good enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Most other teams have dropped lots of points as well. So what`s your point fella? Spurs at least are only getting done by late sucker punches. Other teams are getting walloped 6-1, 7-2 etc. Spurs luck will turn for the better soon. Only last minute strikes have stopped Spurs from having 12 points on the board and sitting near to the top of the table. Form is temporary, class is permanent. My point is, you've dropped more than Liverpool this season and City are a point behind with a game in hand, which you would probably expect they would win. So in a realistic scenario, you are likely to behind both teams you are needing to catch already this season, or at best you will still behind Liverpool.

Only last minute strikes? You were 3-0 up yesterday ffs surely that's more than just "a last minute sucker punch". The Newcastle goal, fair point, but as I said previously, you talk about how great your attack is and yet you must have missed enough chances in that Newcastle game to win 3/4 games, but you didn't. You weren't clinical and you payed the price for it, no matter what you think of the decision, you could have won that game by 6/7 but you didn't and you failed to break down Everton who look a strong outfit this season as well, so this "fantastic attack", which is true on paper don't get me wrong, still has something to show for itself.

You can't just keep banging on about how City and Liverpool and others have suffered heavy defeats. I'd rather win 1-0 and lose 8-0 rather than draw 1-1 and 3-3 for obvious reasons.

Tbh with you, it just sounds like you're making excuse after excuse which isn't good enough. The big old "if only" again, heard that many times before.

The papers, as usual, are having a field day, with pictures of WHU players jumping all over the place, and in most a picture of Bale next to them.

Strangely, they are going with the "let's blame Bale for this result. Not sure why he is getting blamed, given he was on the pitch for 20 minutes, and was deigned a penalty when clearly taken out by the defender when missing his chance.

But what is so typical is the media, ever the Frank supporters, have conveniently totally forgotten the identical result his team suffered, and does not make a single headline.

I mean it was only a day before. Is that now old news for them, or do they like to choose who to mock.

Oh and ready yourselves for article after article on the Van Dijk injury. That one will be repeated and repeated daily for god knows how long.

Steve, we threw away a 3 goal lead with 9 mins to go. It is nothing like the Chelsea result. It's embarrasing and I hope the players see it plastered all over the media and feel ashamed and embarrassed. Bunch of absolute bottling fackers.

Sandy, I’m genuinely interested- what makes you think this team has the mentality and know-how to win a league title, when they can’t even keep a 3 goal lead in last 9 minutes to West Ham?? They haven’t got it as a collective mate let it go.
If we were say 5 clear with 3 games to go I would be a nervous wreck because I would know deep down we would faaack it up somehow
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not letting nine minutes of madness ruin what was a title winning performance over the previous 80 minutes, in full control, smashing a team that has won it`s last two matches 4-0 and 3-0. This team absolutely has what it has to be champions, And I am seeing nothing from the rest of the league that make me think there is a better team than Spurs right now. At the end of the 38 games we will see who was right.

I give it 20 games, then you will be (again) wiping the egg from your face.

Sandy, I believe this particular dust will take more than just one nights sleep to settle.

Yesterdays result will take a while to get over.

Yes, I have woken up this morning as fuming as I was yesterday. The fact we were 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go is hard to take, had we drew 1-1 or 2-2 it would not have been half as bad.

The manner in which we drop points is comical, but deep down it is no surprise, I was saying all window we are not good enough at the back and it is proving the case.

Seems to be showing that not signing the CB you wanted, or not playing the one that you signed for probably many reasons at this point, is costing Spurs points at the moment. I'm not saying said CB would have stopped a 3-3 draw yesterday, but one player can go a long way in a team.
