Just leave

https://twitter.com/footballdaily/status/1318539341870882816?s=21

This obsession with money from the clubs is obscene.

Let them just leave, this game is not for them any more.

Let them join their European super league and charge £14.95 per match on top of their usual subscriptions. After all its only about money, not sport.

Stop the season now, tell teams that want to leave,(any that are in talks!)to do one, promote how ever many needed to their next leagues!..

Simple!..

Might lose some money and cost some time, but, the Premier would build up to a level it now is and fans will come from Clubs that as always put money first!..

Manchester would be the biggest losers until United Manchester make the top flight, than you'll have the U's and C's fans changing to their new club!..

Liverpool fans will turn Blue, what a strange land Liverpool will be, maybe they should change the towns name to Everton!..

I'd fully expect this from Man U and it's American owners but Liverpool?!? C'mon guys, you're better than this.

Liverpool Yankee owned too?

This is a typical American stitch up. If we go in this direction football will be as boring as hell.

Man U playing PSG tonight

Does anyone give fook ???

You imagine if it’s half way through a super league, and both teams mid table.

It would be meaningless. Nobody would watch

It's not fair on the fans either - away days to Spain, Italy, Portugal etc. not to mention the long off-season money-making trips to the US so that the owners can be centre of attention.

This is the turning point where the loyal fanbases of the top clubs could be sold down the river.

If I was a true fan of any 'top 6' club for that matter, I would be very worried about this. Forget going to any live away games anymore and expect you'll never get a ticket for a home game, it'll be corporate only and upwards of £200 a ticket, if you're from Liverpool, your benefit money just doesn't stretch that far. Forget football rivalry and everyone will get bored very quick. It's like a non stop champions league that will get very tedious, very quick.

I used to watch CL highlights on ITV. Don’t bother at all now I can’t watch them. Don’t even know the score last night.

The Glazers are absolutely toxic. I was surprised at Henry but shouldn't be, really.

I read somewhere that Radrizzani was pushing for a breakaway PL2 for the top Championship outfits during the 2018-19 season?
