European Super League

What are everyone's thoughts on Liverpool and Man Utd's latest power grab?

posted on 21/10/20

According to the Telegraph its Real Madrid who are behind it and its going to be a closed shop.

I think its just another attempt by the bigger European clubs to get an increase in the cl money. Any English team involved will know from previous attempts at this that fans won't tolerate any league system without relegation.

The stadiums will be as empty as they are now.

I'm not sure why those two have been singled out. All the reports I gave read state that 5 PL teams are involved.

Nah those 2 are the lowest degrading plankton that are driving this thing. Owners need to be hacked.

Pretty obvious why those two are being singled out. It is their second power grab in the last few weeks.

They didn't create it, they don't want a massive headline so the media picks the 2 biggest teams, not that complicated

Doesn't matter which Clubs are driving it abroad, it's obvious. It's also clearly Utd and Liverpool in this country. After they were outed the other week, even keeping talks from the other 4 so called elite clubs they're not gonna be trusted again. Utd and Liverpool can own it and suck on it.

Manchester arguing about £60m or £65m to keep the city going during restrictions.

Yet either of the big clubs in the city think nothing of spending that on a dud.

Football has lost the plot.

Hope every single one of their fans die a horrible death to be associated with such disgusting clubs.

I wouldn't watch any super league. Boot any clubs who join a European Super League out of the Premier League, so I can continue to watch domestic football without it being a closed shop.
