Surely this goes a bit deeper than just not fitting into a system? Someone with that much quality and ability, who hasn't played a minute of football since the early months of the year, not even a sub appearance?

That last sentence is a clincher.
Ozil speaking up against the Chinese government and their treatment of Uighur muslims, the Chinese government pretty much blackmailing anyone who stands with Ozil to take away any tv money. Would've thought maybe there is a moral obligation for Arsenal to show some unity with one of their best players?
Not convinced at all this is simply down to tactics, no one leaves their highest earner out the squad altogether just for that.
Thoughts?
Ozil

No point going on with this, but I will agree he's been a shadow of his former self. Talking with Arsenal mate and he goes along with the China blackout is well, so it's not like I'm seeing it completely from a rivals fans point of view.
Anyway

Instead of whining, why don't you react to Ozil's conduct in the same way that Viera, Henry, Bergkamp, Wright or any other of our legends would have

Weird how sympathetic Ian Wright is with him comparatively.

Your opinions on Ozil are seriously clouded by your hatred for him. I advice you to do your own research and not just believe everything you read or hear in the media.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you stupid? You do realise that I'M the one who's actually been watching him play all this time, don't you? I haven't based my opinions on youtube, MOTD highlights and media articles. But the numerous 90 min matches I've witnessed, over a 5 year period.
How much more research do I need than having watched the well over 100 Arsenal games, he's been utterly sh !t in. That's your problem, you're lacking that critical piece of research data. THAT'S why you're speculating over this China crap. If you'd seen all the games I have, then you'd know China was not the reason he's been left out of the squads. Because you'd know just how bloody awful he has been in games. Thus know that alone was MORE THAN enough.
As if you're actually that arrogant you think you can have a better idea on this than me. My team, my team's player and I'm the one who actually watched his games. Jesus Christ you're a dumb feck aren't ya. And the fact you reckon you know better than me shows you're arrogant little pr !ck too.

I get that as a Spurs fan you won't know all the nuaces and everything that's happened throughout his Arsenal career.

The exact reason he needs to shut the feck up and listne to all the Arsenal fans whom DO know what they're talking about.

Yup that one.
He isn't in the team with him currently so he'll be polite. Damn near every Arsenal player who's punditted MOTD (Wright included) or commentated on our games. Has made the point that in their day, they would not have tolerated that crap off a teammate.
And the tweet pretty much just sends good wishes for Ozil's future wherever and regrets at the situation not being able to be sorted. He aint saying it was the wrong call nor is he saying Ozil has been wronged or hard done by. It's not actually sympathetic to Ozil. But more regretful for Arsenal that he wouldn't do what Arteta asked of him meaning the situation could not be resolved. That's why there's another tweet backing up Arteta's call and stating that's how Ozil would have been dealt with in Wrighty's day too

It’s a potentially high risk strategy, but if it’s done well most of the time and leads to chances then it’s worth the risk
