about tomorrow night`s visitors LASK, other than they come from Austria. Should Jose go pretty strong, and try to get the group put to bed as quickly as possible? Maybe play as many as finished the game at the weekend, hoping they put that nightmare behind them by scoring a few and winning with a bit to spare. Or does he go full on rotation. I suspect he will play half and half. Maybe most changes in the goalie and back four.
Difficult for me to pick a team right now. Pretty sure one of Kane or Son will start. Is either Lo Celso or Lamela fit? Is Dier available? Whatever team should be strong enough to get off to a winning start in the group.
I feel though that because of no crowd, atmosphere for a European night at WHL is completely flat. I tuned in last night for a bit of CL football, and switched around the channels, and every game was devoid of any atmosphere, and frankly felt like watching park football with the lack of a crowd. It is what it is though, so will have to make the most of it.

Hart
...... Toby. Sanchez. Davies
Doherty........................... Cirkin
......... Winks...... Dele
Moura..... Bale...... Clarke
............ Vinicius
That's a horrible team and Hart setting up by the corner flag isn't ideal, but can't see them causing that many problems (on paper) so keep some big guns on the bench and we'll be alright.
(not even sure Cirkin or Clarke are with us or elligle to be honest)

12 players as well...

I hate when people are such sticklers for the rules. Live a little mate 👍

Fine, take Clarke out I guess. Bring him on for 10 mins at the end when we're 3-0 up so there's no risk.

LASK ...seems they lost to ManU last season, both matches, by a goal total of 1-7.
Should be a walk over......so.....we'll lose!

I don’t get this Aurier bashing...........thought he was good v West Ham, yes he gave the free kick away but the goal was not his fault.
I was a fan of Sanchez when he arrived, however whenever he gets the ball now, he is like a rabbit caught in a cars headlights. His default position is pass the ball backwards, as for the goal then why he went for a diving header when he would have been easier to hook the ball away with his left foot.
The 3rd goal was down to Winks in my opinion. He stabbed at the ball rather than going for the big hoof. First rule is that when you are under the cosh in the final minutes, anywhere upfield is good. Winks played the ball towards Lanzini and the rest is history.

Giving away a free kick near your own goal is hard to justify. That said, Sissoko missed the header and the attacker behind him got it. Blame equally Aurier & Sissoko.
Never been a fan of Sanchez, not good enough and needs to be traded for someone better (plus cash).
On the third, Winks is too lightweight for the Prem (I've said this countless times) and he simply got blocked for Lanzini to "have a go".

When I was trying to dig up more info on them earlier in the week I stumbled upon this article from last season when they faced United

If NDombele is rested and GLC still isn't fit I'd like to see ANY other option than Winks & sissoko (both are dog shlt) alongside PEH... Won't mind if its a Kid or Dele/ Lamela playing deeper

Positives are N’Dombele & Hojberg showing what good signings they were.👍
