Honestly don't see how a patriotic English man like yourself python is against poor English kids getting a government paid meal.

On one hand you hear people along your political.kines bemoan immigration and the state money spent on it. But today you're happy the government you voted for has decided to not feed hungry English children.

Not very patriotic and sounds very un brexit like.

As much as it disgusts me, it’s impressive how effective it is, kneerash.

If the pandemic is still on then yes. The Government can drop billions into private projects then it is not unreasonable to ask for smaller part to hungry kids. In fact I'm more happy that my tax goes to the kids than some un-scrutiny projects. Can you tell how they spend 12 billion on track and trace system? Do you know how many billion has been spent to prepare for Brexit?

Yep and I’m not happy with that either as to how much money they’ve wasted. Doesn’t mean I should now be happy paying for other people’s kids when I struggle each month to look after my own family and I have many friends and family in the same position who pay for themselves and aren’t reliant on the state

So you and your friends can work and pay for your kids, good for you. This scheme is for family on Universal credit, are you on that level?
Instead of having a go at the rich who got richer (MPs have free meals at the Parliament, Cummings avoids council tax), you decided that the poor kids are stealing your support money instead

Where have I said any of it is right? It isn’t and I think it’s disgusting how MPs have huge pay rises every year etc etc. Still doesn’t change my stance on the free meal idea. Secondly you do know there are plenty of charities for kids needing meals etc. If you are so outraged by it why don’t you and all the other outraged people put your money into them?

Yes he is doing a lot of good work and should applauded for it.

It is also good for Penchester United, he is currently the media golden boy, so there is no wonder the referees give him the benefit of doubt and a penalty kick every time he falls over.

I've looked at them, good charity, But not quite the same thing is it. Who are the others doing what Marcus proposes. I really don't see why you're against it. The cost to you would be miniscule, the benefit to the children enormous.

You can donate your money to all kind of charities, still need the Gov to do their decent job.
Rashford petition has less than 400k signatures. It will need each one of them to donate £150 to get £60M

Botham received his peerage for supporting Brexit (telling porkies) rather than his charity work which was a shame.

If anyone *deserved* a peerage for promoting Brexit, it should have been Farage.
