We are just not as good as we think..

Time to stop blaming tactics and accept reality, and you won't be so annoyed when we lose.

Someone mentioned Auba's been woeful since his new deal? Well what do you expect in a game like that, hasn't he always been woeful when the opposition plays smart defensively? Just deny him space and he doesn't have the ability to affect the game unless the ball is infront of him, this is nothing new but seems people haven't learned yet.

As for Lacazette he's been a complete flop. Our forwards are not as good as everyone thinks, they are not good enough to affect the game unless everything under the sun falls into place on the day apparently.

All these excuses rolling out already... 'had no service' (even though they did), 'the players behind them didnt play well', and in Auba's case 'he's no good on the wing' even though thats where most of the goals come from 😅. While he's very good, the guy is not Salah, Son, Kane or Mane, stop being so surprised when he can't affect a tight game, he doesnt have the skillset to do that unless the opposition makes mistakes or defend naively. He needs the ball infront of him to run on to with decoy runners so he can get shots off that is his game, time to start accepting it.

Bellerin and Tierny are pretty average too. Zero guile in the final third which is disappointing especially since we focus on using our fullbacks, they are light years behind Robertson and Alexander Arnold.

Tierney was our most creative player lol. Played 3 key passes in the first half only for our useless strikers to waste them. Our fullbacks were gd tonight.

Not including Saka in this.

Agreed Saka is the best front player we have right now, he's really showing up the other two. He has the first touch that you need in tight situations and always looks like he will make something happen. With the other two as they get it I'm never surprised when they lose it.

Saka is the only bright spark. He is 19 and he can hold the ball better than Auba

Auba is like Vardy. Deadly in certain circumstances and capable of doing something out of nothing but if you do not play to his strengths you will not get much out of him. He needs quality either side of him but he isnt played central enough or alongside anyone who will complement him.

Imagine if Leicester played Vardy wide left it right and put Barnes up top Gray on the other side. it wouldn't work.

Arteta risks damaging the young players but playing them out of position or in a badly set up team that loses

To add to what is a fairly meddling squad is the fact that we also have the most inexperienced manager in the league who continues to make some baffling personnel and tactical decisions in this embarrassing attempt to prove he’s the 2nd coming of Pep. The job and the requirements of the job were/are too big for a rookie coach and some of the absolute dross we’re seeing week after week is simply chickens coming home to roost.

Can't see what all the fuss about Partey is all about.... as soon as Leicester actually bothered to go after the game and brought on Vardy they cut though your midfield at will. Have a sneaky feeling you've been sold a pup there.... everyone knew the release clause all summer and nobody went near him

Nothing like Vardy, Vardy is far more aggressive and is a constant threat. Aubameyang relies on others to bring him into the game, Vardy can come deep , beat a man and can play on the shoulder of the defender. Has everything to his game. Aubameyang on his day can be a lethal finisher but everything has to go right for him.

How many players do we have at the club who can actually take on and hopefully beat their first man?

Two.

Saka and Bellerin.

Everyone else is pretty much useless without an overlapping teammate to play triangular passes with.
