Championship to Premier

Morning all

With 6 games gone it would be a good time to note the Pros and Cons we have seen in our short time back in Premier League in comparison to our lengthy spell in the Championship. Has been a long time since we played at the top level and we appear to have settled in quite well.

Obviously there is a huge difference in quality, but is it as big as we were expecting, have we adapted perfectly, or does the Premier League suit our style of play much better.

Pros include how so many of our “Championship" Players have not looked out of place, Ayling, Dallas, Klich, Harrison to name a few.
Refereeing has been inconsistent but generally an improvement.

Cons include the amount of play acting, waving of imaginary cards and the miraculous recovery of some players having been mortally wounded just seconds earlier. Although to be fair one of the main culprits did hone some of his talents in the Championship.

Would be interested to read some of your comments.

Have to say I am finding the stop start nature of the Premier League a bit dull. So used to the two a week nature of the EFL, this Friday one week then having to wait 9 days for the next game is meaning I am not getting my fill.

It is strange for us, and to think some experts believe we will burn out with the heavy workload.

Biggest con for me is.

I now watch a lot more prem games and have to put up with the likes of

Skum
Southern skum
Newcastle
Burnley
Brighton

Playing turgid, negative, terrible, boring football.

There no need for it, but when you look at state of their managers, it’s no surprise

I think with Luke Ayling and Hat-trick Bamford in our team, we're not best placed to call out others for diving

Shhhhhh.

The Ayling Flop is becoming a highlight of each game.

Ha, yes but word gets around. Besides, we don't need to resort to cheating when we play such amazing football.

We look better now than we did a few months ago because we aren't playing against packed out defences every week.

The level of manager quality is shocking. How spurs can go from exciting/pressing footy from Poch, to getting Mourinho, all about him and his anti football, Then solskjaer, just grins like a cheshire cat, has zero ability to coach, to Frank 'I've only had 500m to spend this summer'.

The excuses when they don't win too, always about VAR and not their own incompetence.

Watched ManU vs Chelsea, and it was a biig yaaawn, and then Arsenal vs Leicester. Not much better.

Kept dreaming of Bielsaball. If that is how these teams play, they are in for an "Aston Villa treatment".

Southern skum?

I'm guessing Chelsea but Arsenal and Spurs aren't far behind.

When I think we could have drawn that opeming game v/s Liverpool and also v's Wolves, we'd be unbeaten up to now in the top 4 ... Just saying

You could get to the end of the season and say if if if if if and you could have gone unbeaten all season in that case.

We didn't deserve to get a result against Wolves or Liverpool anyway, they scored more goals than us.
