Interesting the same thing happens when he plays for Spain. 1st shot on target against De Gea is usually a goal. I think we conceded 1 goal or more in about 15 games last season when our expected goals against was 0. Something.

Interestingly De Gea performance in cup competitions in last 5 years especially in europe he concedes a goal from every 2 shots on target usually and he has a similar record in Spain. Also he rarely keeps clean sheets unless opposition have 0 shots on target.
