Lockdowns

In France and Germany.

France will introduce new coronavirus lockdown measures from Friday, President Emmanuel Macron has announced.

In his second major televised address in two weeks, Macron said France was “overwhelmed by the pace at which the virus is spreading," which was “worse than even the most pessimistic projections.

Average daily infections more than doubled from 17,000 to 36,000 in the two weeks since his last address.

I agree.

Until zero tourists decimate your economy.

Then when there’s a queue southbound at the aforementioned A9 closure all begging for jobs In the central belt...

It will take us a decade minimum to get out of this virus with the way these lockdowns are happening at this rate. 36,000 people a day is bad, but put that in respect to France's total population (almost 68 million) then it will take a lifetime to get out of it.

It's either a sign that we need to get more money pumped into the NHS to help in assisting them with controlling the virus, or we continue to lock everywhere down every couple of months.
