Very happy for him and he’s deserved another game.

Not playing him down as I didn’t even see the game but happens some times with players playing their 1st big game and don’t follow it up.

I remember Paddy McNair for us a few years ago. Played a stormer at centre half on his debut. Not sure if he’s in championship or league one now.

He probably won't be a world beater but there was a vacancy for a 4th choice CB. To bring someone off the bench who can win headers is massive in our predominantly short side.

Oh i dont disagree at all. Might not be good enough.

But if he can chip in this season with a half dozen solid performances whilst Matip, Fabinho and VVD are our that could be the difference between us retaining the title and not.

Very fair point. Think your away form will be key this year. Hard to see you losing at Anfield but the away form has been iffy ever since that Watford defeat.
