Thoughts from tonight

Felt a bit flat tonight, but reality was that we were up against. very good side, with one of the best strikers in the country.

The sharpness of Vardy was great to see, and without disrespect to Bamford, shows what a club aspiring to be top really needs, pace and consistency.

Not that much to say about Leeds, but I think Philips absence is biting and Koch looked very shaky.

Also, must say, disappointed with Ayling's dive, hate to see that from any player, be they opponent or our own player. Also a little disappointed with Hernandez throwing the black armband away, yes I want to see passion from a player, but its a show of disrespect to Bielsa and also, I'm afraid, to what teh armband was there to symbolise.

A fair result, Leicester deserved to win, I still think we can get top 6, but need to be a little more committed than we appeared to be tonight.

Mistakes and too many having an off night, plus injuries left us short if we are bringing Poveda on at half time we are struggling, Leicester are a very good side and theres no margin for error against these teams, regroup and go again,

Well said

Feel deflated because we shouldn't be losing 4-1 at home to a depleted side who looked as lost as we did during the second half. Lesson's need to be learned because Palace will do exactly the same to us if we ain't careful.

Palace are nowhere near as good as Leicester, Shaun.

Disagree, Stoopo - I for one am gutted. Same every time we lose but this time, we were thoroughly bossed by Leicester's B team plus Vardy and were lucky to come away only conceding four. It's very worrying that this is the second time we have conceded four - and in only seven games!

Hernandez rightly substituted and at his age completely out of order to throw away the armband. Apart from that wonderful bit of magic when he hit the post, he gave away possession too often.

Agree that Ayling embarrassed himself with that blatant dive - he's way too good to be doing that!

Also agree that Bielsaball doesn't work well in very wet conditions. Lots of passes went astray.

Can't blame Koch for not containing Vardy - he's a top, top striker and very fast - but it seems to me Cooper didn't show up at all and Klich was unable to control the space in front of the centre backs.

Where were Roberto and Raphinha? Both injured?

It was a pretty pi$$poor performance all round and I'm completely gutted. Even Dallas's goal was fluke! Don't normally post after we lose but we were really rubbish last night. Weird how one performance can be so good and the next so bad.

Agreed, Koch had an absolute shocker.

Last nights side wouldnt have been our strongest in the championship the bench showed that, we could/should have scored 4( what was Bamford doing with the one on one ?), always said this season woulld have blips in it and when we have one people tend to over analyse and look for problems that arent there, if the next 31 games are like the first 7 i for one wont be complaining,

We needed Philips last night to pick up those runs from. Vardy. Klich is not dm and it showed. When you look back at the game they scored from every chance they had. There wasnt a lot of chances in the game. Maybe Struijk should be given another chance against Palace.

I despise seeing Leeds lose but maybe this was the rude awakening required.

With respect to 75% of the Premier league, in terms of quality and efficiency, the end product is ruthless and we have to learn to be consistent in disciplined defending and putting the ball away at the other end.

Honeymoon period over but sure MB will get us back on track - well he has to.
