MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

Crystal Palace have won only one of their past eight matches against Leeds in all competitions (D2, L5).
However, Leeds are winless in their last four trips to Selhurst Park (D2, L2).
This is their first Premier League meeting since Leeds won 2-0 away in January 1998.
Crystal Palace

Roy Hodgson's side have won just one of their past seven home league fixtures (D2, L4).
The Eagles have scored more than once in only one of their 12 Premier League matches at Selhurst Park in 2020.
Palace have lost at least one home fixture against promoted opposition in each of the last five seasons.
Crystal Palace have lost three of their past five league games (W1, D1), conceding at least twice in each defeat.
A player has been sent off in each of their last three fixtures.
Wilfried Zaha has scored five of Palace's eight Premier League goals this season.
Leeds United

The Whites are looking to win three successive Premier League away games for the first time since August 2002.
They have not conceded an away goal in three hours and two minutes.
Leeds have won just one of their past 20 league matches in London (D6, L13).
Marcelo Bielsa's side have scored 13 league goals so far this season. The only promoted team to score more over the opening seven matches of a Premier League campaign are Nottingham Forest, with 14 in 1994-95.
Patrick Bamford can become the first Leeds player to score in the opening four away games of a top-flight campaign.

Can we get over last weeks hiccup, I think so but again this will be tough, MB will have been working on the Lads and i'm sure they'll be well up for this, 1-2 for me with Paddy getting his confidence back and scoring both

You win some, you lose some ... (to the crazy VAR offside, though ) .. we'll be fine IF we get back to full-strength sometime soon.

Thanks for the thread, Highland

" Trump is a disaster for the world. If this is him gone then that's more important than a Leeds win. "

Dead right. Thank God that horrific fascist will be leaving the White House, even if it does take crowbars to get his grasping little fingers off the desk.

Still commenting on it

Disappointed we lost today, but have to say, am delighted that the walking and talking advert for overuse of spray tan has been kicked out. Hopefully that will quieten some of his odious supporters.

Doubt it though
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am also very disappointed we lost today. Thought the VAR decision changed the game but quite simply we weren't good enough in defence and didn't have the key to unlock the Palace defence. Yes we were unlucky at times but we can't go all season saying we were unlucky. We have to make our own luck. Missing Phillips, Llorente and Cooper doesnt help.

And for the record, I ain't no Trump fan, and I'm definitely no Biden fan. However, I try and look at certain things as unbiased as possible and I think there are a lot of people who jump on the Trump racist/fascist/misogynist/ bandwagon all too easily. I also find those same people are very quick to shut you down or go on the offensive as soon as you hold a differing opinion to them. A big reason why people like myself very seldom open up on such topics and enter into a civil discourse because it never is that. Yes, he has said a lot of things i do not agree with. He has also done quite a number of things that I do agree with.

I'd rather not get into it on a matchday thread anyway as there will be many people reading who would rather not read posts like mine and others like it. Its everywhere at the minute and sport should be a break from it all. However, sadly it seems nowadays sport seems to be the epicentre of all things political. Anyway, the only reason I did reply to the first political post was because I was fed up of seeing it. In hindsight I shouldn't have replied.

Sorry for the post. This is the last you'll hear from me tonight. 👍

The honeymoon period is officially over. It's gonna be a long hard season from here. At least the top 4 looney optimists will now pipe down.

Still think we’ll be top 10

Also think Bielsa has had a disaster today for dropping Pablo jus because he was upset at being subbed ffs. Grow up ffs

Sorry to say it, but Cooper seems to be out of his depth at this level and we look better defensively when he isn't in the team. Time will tell but 8 goals conceded since the clean sheet away at villa says where are weakness is.
Two weeks to get players back from injury and let's see what happens but all the plaudits for playing lovely attacking football means nothing if you keep losing heavily. In Bielsa we trust but sometimes I do question some of his selections.

Always had reservations about Cooper in the Premier League. I hoped the 2 new CBs would prove a good pairing with Cooper as back up. Sadly we have not had them both available at any point and even had Ayling filling in there in some games when Cooper was also out.
Agree with A14 about Pablo as well. Sure give him a rocket for his reaction but if he was left out for that reason, it is cutting off your nose to spite your face in my book. His cleverness might have been the spark we needed today to break them down
