It does, because clubs don’t sack managers after they’ve won. United aren’t going to do this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It doesn't

If a manager has agreed to leave irrespective of his last game being a win or loss then it makes no difference.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why would he agree to leave?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He's under contract

Leaving by mutual consent
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, but why on earth would he agree to do that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

15th in the league

Utter shambles on the pitch

Need I say more?

Ole can see it's not good enough

Ed telling Ole we have Poch lined up etc...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You haven’t answered the question: why would he agree to leave?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why wouldn't he?

13th in the league

We're a shambles. He was brought in on an interim basis

Should he be fired or his contract terminated by mutual consent in an amicable way? I think Ole would prefer the latter. Don't think compo is a concern for a club legend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It makes no difference that he was brought in on an interim basis. He has been appointed manager on a permanent basis and has a contract.

He’s doing his dream job, and being paid very well to do it.

It’s bonkers to think he’d agree to just walk away. What’d it say about his character? It’d be a ridiculous and nonsensical career move.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So you'd rather the club sack him in a similar fashion to Jose? Or LvG?

I'd rather it was ended amicably. The role is too big for Ole.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It doesn’t matter what you or I think.

There’s no reason why Ole would agree to walk away right now.

I’d be frankly amazed if he’d do it even if the board offered to pay double his wages for the remainder of his contract.

Ole would have been given specific objectives for this season ... there is no justification for terminating his contract.

You think the club will sack him after a win and that Ole will just walk away from the job.

The only one talking nonsense here is you.

He would prefer the ignominy of being sacked by the club he adores?

In a ideal scenario we win the league under Ole. Never going to happen sadly.

Great PR a win brings to the Club and Ed for fecking things up again.

Genius 👏

I pay attention and have a good memory.

Look I get that you want it to happen but it won’t.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh right

So, the club will wait until a defeat before sacking him?

😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They probably will, as it will create bad headlines for Ed if he does it after a win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

😂

It does not

We are a shambles whether we sack now or after a defeat

Utter nonsense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not how the media will spin it. It'll be; poor Ole, he was turning a corner, how could Utd do this? And so on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The knives are already out, 13th in the league is crisis point, the indifferent performances this season is already shining the spotlight on ole, many are already calling for head

A win or loss as a consequence makes no difference. It's delaying the inevitable. The critics already know this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ed probably see football in a really simplistic manner, and thinks Ole can take Utd forwards. After all, he thinks he's an expert and we don't need a Dof.

Everton are just plain pathetic! Pickford's "ball-watching" on that second goal was a disgrace. Perhaps the clock has begun to tick on the manager who was going to turn things around????
