Terrible decisions

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face .That was whatMarcelo did when he omitted Hermandes which also resulted in having a lot of children on the bench. This matter should have been put to bed inhis office Bielsas.Very small minded and is not above criticism .

I’m prepared to agree.

Bielsa is not infallible.

With all respect, he appears to be the one with a tantrum, as Hernandez in fact proved to have the better judgement last week.

For the record, I have no doubt either that that is why Hernandez was omitted from the squad today.

We don’t know the full story on why Pablo was omitted. Bielsa was very careful in his language not to comment about the player in a critical way, but this match cried out for Pablo. We have not seen Pablo react so badly to being taken off before, perhaps his petulance carried on into training this week. No player is bigger than the club and if they think they are, Marcelo wastes no time in cutting them down to size. Hopefully, this is the end of the matter and we have Pablo back to business after the break.

Hernandez threw a tantrum last week, which would have been fine if he hadn't absolutely merited being pulled. He deserved to be dropped from the eleven this week. Surprised he wasn't in the squad, but not shocked. Hopefully he learns and doesnt act out like that again.

Can only assume that it continued away from what we saw on the cameras.

I really hope so because frankly, it was a daft decision to take him off against Leicester and he had every right to feel hacked off imo. We we're on top and an equaliser looked likely.

He was carp against Leicester, apart from the shot he had. Misplaced passes and seemed off the pace throughout. That said, as the shot proved, he's always capable of that bit of magic. But i really didn't like the petulance when subbed - side before self.

It seems some didn't see about 3 passes he sent across the pitch and all were cut out!..

Like VOF says, passes were so slow if they hadn't been cut out they wouldn't have made their mark!..

As for Players and Bielsa, Pontus tried his luck and failed!..

it seemed noticeable to me that the heavy rain/near water-logged pitch was slowing the ball down significantly, really not helping our short intricate passing game. Sure it’s the same for both teams, but didn’t help us get into our normal flow. And it wasn’t just Pablo who passed short, thought a lot of the passes were.....
.... just an observation, not an excuse.

Rolling the ball along the ground in those conditions suggest the player playing them is doing something wrong!..

If he was an inexperienced younger player ok, but his experience should have set in after the first try!..
