Attention! Missing

If anyone can find Andreas Christensen or Callum Hudson-Odoi, please return them to the authorities at Stamford Bridge. Their parents are very worried as they told them they would be playing with their mates and havent been seen for weeks.

How the hell was Salah worse for us Wahl? How many games did Mourinho allow him before pushing him and DeBruyne out? These are Mourinho errors. He got rid of players that were more than just promising. He never gave them a chance 13 and 3 games respectively.

Nah Salah had plenty of time to show he was poor. The mistake was not bringing him back after successful loans in Italy.

Salah was a top player at Basle. He was getting good reviews in Champions/Europa League. He played well against us and scored which brought him to our attention. 13 appearances is not enough besides which he'd shown enough to suggest he was a decent player at 23 and as you stay the loan moves confirmed that. The big clue was the Italian clubs fighting over him and Fiorentina threatening to sue Chelsea. Still Jose knew best and he and KDB were gone.

The reason he didn’t get more than 13 appearances under Mou is because he was generally rubbish when given opportunities. Loaning him was the right move. It was what came afterwards that was the issue.

We can’t give every single player who is not impressing unlimited chances just because ‘look at Salah’ or ‘look at Kane’. It’s just illogical.

Yeah but knowing our luck, that's exactly how it will turn out. Lamptey is already going that way.

There must be a reason Bayern want CHO that badly. And like I said, you just KNOW if they take him that in 3-5 years he'll be one of the best wide forwards on the planet and everyone will be once again laughing at Chelsea asking how they managed to let this one go

Why not just appraise what you want of CHO independently of big club rumours. This same principle could apply to that Inter Milan were linked with Emerson, Barce and Madrid a few seasons ago linked with Alonso. It hardly changes my opinion of the player much on whether or not they I would take the deal.

Regardless, players like Renato Sanches, Arp, Odriozola and Cuisance just in the last few years discount the already illogical myth that Bayern ‘never get it wrong’ with young talent. Or that a young talent can go to Bayern and somehow is therefore destined to be world class. They’re a well run club, but not some infallible work of nature.

In any case their most recent link to CHO was more of a gamble that could only work in their favour, rather than a clear investment in their belief in his ability. It was a loan with an offer to buy for £70m. If he happens to perform they get a good player for £70m. If he didn’t make an impact, no issue, he comes back. So it is just a low risk gamble.

Lamptey wanted to leave, we could hardly just stop him. Sometimes players leave clubs and they do well, it is what it is, who cares, it happens to every club. And in most instances it is a player no one would’ve predicted their rise or who needed the sale to play and develop. Salah falls into that category. It does make KDB and Lukaku sales more annoying as most could actually see and predict their potential. Still, all the other clubs have the same issue, just never brought up, it is made out like it is just a Chelsea thing:

United: Zaha, Depay, Pique, Rossi, Forlan, Januzaj
Liverpool: Suso, Luis Alberto, Coady, Lucas
City: Boateng, Manu Garcia, Angelino, Porro, Marcos lopes, Sancho, Denis Suarez, Denayer, David Brooks (they actually have loads)
Arsenal: Reine-Adelaide, Malen, Gnabry, Scznznesy, Emi Martinez, Bennacer
