He didn't exactly have much time to impress when he came on, but his sheer presence upfront alongside Kane changed the dynamics of the game.

It was good to see Mourinho isn't afraid to go for the jugular to win a game when we're drawing.

I don’t really think he did an awful lot but had a nice attempt at goal

it gave the baggies defence another forward to worry about, hence Kane finds some space

Meh I don’t think he did anything that adding another forward wouldn’t have done. Bergwijn, Lamela, Dele would have all done the same thing which is why I don’t want to sing his praises too much regarding that point. He was largely fine though, forced a good save

For Kane’s goal Kane has led the line and Vinicius occupied a space that any of those players could have - and for Vinicius’s best moment in the game (the turn around and shot) he literally picked the ball up at the AM position.

instincts probably not the right word...just striker positions. Dele for example has been playing very deep recently and not getting himself in the box like he used to. Lamela is just a headless chicken. Bergwijn plays wide.

I dunno I feel like if Dele was on to change the game he would have camped in their box, had Lamela or Bergwijn come on then Son would have come into the middle.

I think all we needed in that game was another attacker to come on as we didn’t need someone like Sissoko to protect the defence when we were hoping to win against poor team but I don’t want to take anything away from Vinicius I think he looks good

the Dele sitch angers me as i can imagine it might you. Like no brainer to have him on the bench instead of having 3 defenders yesterday. Him and Vinicius are first names on the bench for me.

I think what the changes at the end showed was that if we put out an attacking line up and take that fecking lump Sisokko off the pitch then we are able to dominate in an offensive way.

I am all for sending on The Lump if its 1-0 with 10 minutes left to hold what we have but having Sisokko on vs limited opposition hands them a huge initiative as we have seen vs average opposition .

Honestly, watch Sisokko. How many first time passes, how many little passes round the corner, how many receipts of the ball on the half turn, to spin out of a challange, how many driving runs?

The answer is almost none.

I can PEH is excellent at ,chasing and pressing the ball. He doesnt just sit in front of the back 4 and invite them to him, so yes, he needs a CM partner who can also sit, and mop up and this probably is not GLC or NDombeles game, but FECK ME Sisokko is utterly useless and moving the ball. He works in straight lines, with his head down, and has to concentrate like heel to make sure his first touch is ok. He is a total handbrake on our creativity and to me is the reason why we have struggled past lower half teams.

I am not sure if this is Jose being Jose, Jose trying to instil some defensive confidence, Jose just making sure we bag these points during this difficult period of many fixtures.

I have long been happy to see Sisokko as a part of the squad but his limitations are even more exposed now and i wish Winks would pull his finger out of his arrrse or that the lad we loaned to Norwich came back.
