Arsenal Job Is Too Big For Arteta

Aside from playing horrible football and using strange formations, what's this man's beef with certain players? He's not particularly bright is he? Pepe just came out and was bemoaning his lack of playing time. And rightly so. Play one game, bench next game and repeat process. To make matters worse he finds himself behind Wilner who looks worse each game.

Him leaving out Özil has been done to death. But you can't tell me it's not affecting team morale when you treat the most popular player in the squad as such. That's being compounded by how he's treating Saliba as well.

He is way too defensive and cautious. The team barely creates any chances. It's gonna be a long long season.

Along with his strange questionable decision making on the pitch, and off it, his man management is absolutely horrendous.
I suppose this is what the cheap option in the manager department gets you. Hire average managers, get average results.

You LITERALLY (and this time it's the actual meaning of literally because you clearly don't know that either) created an article with the title: "Bigger flop: Pogba or Ozil?" You have no credibility whatsoever you fickle loser.

good search.

But this simply reinforces what I said before. I don't think ozil is great, but right now, beggars can't be choosers.

Where's the deflection?

I never said he solves a problem. All I'm saying is he can make us slightly less shiiit than we already are.

Let's remind you one last time of the Premier League Stats for Ozil from his last season because you seem to be in desperate need of a trip to Specsavers:

18 Appearances
1 Goal
2 Assists

This is not a case of beggars can't be choosers.

This is a case of, Ozil is a non-option.

Try again stoopid.

Ozil is a non option despite him starting all our games before lockdown, where we were scoring more goals, and playing a better quality of football?

He was absolute trash in that period and was rightly dropped, we suffered badly when he was on the pitch.

That's a fact and thankfully that's what Arteta knows too.

As opposed to now, where we are still suffering (perhaps worse than before) but with the added bonus of creating zilch through the centre of the pitch.

In general we are not suffering defensively, apart from the Villa game which was a blip we have the best defensive record in the league, that's a big improvement from when Ozil was playing for us because we were playing with 10 men defensively when he was playing, that's unacceptable.

I'd take a boring 0-0 draw away at Leeds and a 1-0 win away at Old Trafford over losing because we concede several goals, wouldn't you?

We'll find creative solutions but we need a settled 1st XI with our best midfielder. Ozil is not the solution and that has already been proven for enough years.

You don't think we suffered defensively against Leeds?

You didn't see how they ran rings around our midfield?

You didn't see them hit the post 2 or 3 times, you didn't see Leno bailing us out with a couple of amazing saves?

I'm not saying ozil is the solution. I'm saying arteta froze ozil out hoping he could ride out the time between then and buying a proper creative solution or two. And it hasn't worked because the opposition have figured out our back 3, and now we're trying to go back to a back 4 without the (admittedly underwhelming) attacking threat ozil provided before lockdown.

What midfield? Partey was missing as was Elneny, they have been our best two midfielders this season so far.

Yes we suffered against Leeds but not the suffering of conceding several goals and losing the game sillybollox
