sing loud sing proud

For once in my life I've got something to say
I wanna say it now
For now is today
A love has been given
So why not enjoy
So let's all grab
And let's all enjoy

the kids
Are LEEDS UNITED
Then we'll never
Be divided

Just take a look around you
What do you see
Kids with feelings
Like you and me
Understand him,
He'll understand you
For you are him,
And he is you.

The kids
Are LEEDS UNITED
Then we'll never
Be divided

I don't want to be rejected
I don't want to be denied
Then its not my misfortune
That I've opened up your eyes

Freedom is given
Speak how you feel
I have no freedom
How do you feel
They can lie to my face
But not to my heart
If we all stand together
It will just be the start

LEEDS UNITED!!!!!

I saw Parrot face Freddie in the Fun house!.

And Corries Vera Duckworth, she was a stand up comedian in her free time!..

I was in what seemed a upper class club in Bingley, I remember a bit of a longish drive way to the door, forget its name though!..

Mind, being from Keighley I suppose anywhere was upper class!.

And Harvey's pub, what was it called, the Harvesters I think!..

That seemed upper classed as well!.

Being from Halifax, Bingley was a step too far. Though Bradford was the must-have destination for higher-class curries.

Yeah, the Harvesters, New Inn and the White Horse opposite the firestation by the bridge.
Porkies was down the cobbled ginnel near the station

"Wow I've never met anyone else who remembers Knickers. It was an unlikely but legendary venue – as well as XTC, I saw the Pistols in their prime, and the Motors – slightly pre 'Airport'"

Lorra, the Pistols got fined after that concert, the papers said something to do with them encouraging their fans to empty their water and puke over the balcony!.

Nothing better than frigging in the rigging I suppose!.

I’ve just looked up that Pistols gig - it was 19 Dec 1977. Christ I feel even older now. And yes there was lots of liquid flying about - mainly gob!
