It's a combination of both this and the "backwards knees" above.

Elephants uniquely appear to have 4 knees, but the forelimbs are really reversed elbows, making them appear as 4 knees 👍🏻

That reminds me of a video I saw recently of an amateur wrestler who broke his legs during his ring entrance after jumping from the turnbuckle. Both legs bent 90 degrees the wrong way at the knee. Nasty.
