If Spurs go on to win their next half

a dozen games or so, I would suggest that the title could pretty well be wrapped up this side of Xmas, then can concentrate on some of the cup competitions in the New Year.

Wouldn`t put it past Spurs to put together a winning run now, and win all these supposedly difficult games. Nothing really to fear from any of those teams, from what I have seen this season. They are all inconsistent, lots of them leaking goals for fun. Very, very winnable games for Spurs I would say. The fear factor has completely gone now.

Spurs unbeaten in the Prem since the opening day of the season, really have it absolutely in their own hands now, to completely blow away all opposition in the next month.

Adding Gareth Bale to all ready talented squad, was a masterstroke, a serial winner of a player, playing for a serial winner of a manager. It is these sort of games, where I expect Bale to really come to the forefront, already scored one winner this season, in his limited time back on the Prem stage. I wouldn`t be surprised now, if he now goes up through the gears, and starts terrorising defences in the next few weeks.

Oh and I forgot Spurs also have a peak Kane and Son alongside him. What a combination coming at you. Bale/Kane/Son, pretty well guaranteed two or three goals a game without even breaking sweat. And with the much improved defence keeping it really tight, can only man Spurs stringing the wins together big-time.

Blimey, am I getting carried away, and rightly so, with the current Spurs side, that is oozing class all over the pitch. I really, really am very, very excited about where this season is going.

Start off today with three points against City, 3-0 or 4-1, and then carry it on through November and right up until Xmas, and I can see a very large gap developing at the top of the table between Spurs and the rest.

good in the opening vs wham too. But wham were a lot more clinical n dangerous that brighton who struggle to finish their dinner as we saw vs Utd with them.

City are struggling to score atm too, which could be good news for Spurs. But with their quality of player its surely not going to last so cant bank on it.

And Spurs missing lots of easy chances is not going to last either. Expect Spurs to score three or four this evening.

It's sadly stuff like this that makes me think we aren't going to win the title.

I can't imagine how Sandy's mad optimism could go up a level if Spurs actually win the title this year but I'm sure he'll find a way!

After Jose's comments about Sterling, will he be invited to join SAGE and appear next to the PM at the next Covid briefing?

Should be a great game, two teams in form.

Score draw would be my bet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What lol. Spurs have been scraping out eye watering victories and Spurs haven’t scored twice in the PL since they were battered by Leicester. Neither team is in form

So much wrong with that post.

1. Spurs battered Leicester 3-0 last time they played them.

2. Spurs are unbeaten in the Prem since the opening day of the season.

3. Spurs have just about scored the most goals of any team in the Prem.

4. Spurs have the joint best defensive record in the Prem.

5. Spurs have already battered sides 5-2 and 6-1 this season.

Spurs are not on form.Just about the most stupid statement of week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Spurs have only won 1 match against a team in the top half of the table this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I meant City haven’t scored twice in the PL since Leicester battered them. Also if you look at Spurs last 6 fixtures, they haven’t played well despite picking up mostly good results.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course they have played well. In fact they should have more points than they currently have on offer.

Name me a side that has been blitzing sides in the Prem this season, with scintillating football every game? You cannot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you have said yourself in previous articles that Spurs are winning without playing well

COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE
Burnley, Brighton and WBA, despite Spurs not being at their absolute best, their three star players Kane, Son and Bale have all come up with late winners. That is what title winning teams do, grind out results, and the top men then step up to the plate, and score the all important goals.

None of those players were playing particularly well, but they all came up scoring priceless winning goals, Son against Burnley, Bale came off the bench to score the winner against Brighton, and Kane, who was not doing a lot, popped up late with the winner yesterday late on against WBA.

I was wrong.................
Reguilon will be facing Walker.............
a very interesting match up!
Any bets who comes out on top?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Walker looks rubbish now Ted, definitely Spurs will target him, and the City back four doesn`t look very strong at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually Walker was one of City's best players today....
niether Reguilon nor Bergwjyn could beat him in a footrace.
That said, Reguilon had a very good game.
