Match Watch

I don't expect a fluent game today, and Jose knows that he needs to get the players to be dirty and break up the game constantly.

We will stay back, let them have the ball, and break in counter attack.

With Reguilon and Aurier high up as soon as we have the ball, and Son and Bale or whoever on the right hand side, instructed to support Kane, I see relinquish possession for a more effective counter-attacks.

City have rested their front 2 and that is a major bonus for them.

However, they won't fancy the two players in the middle PEH and Sissoko who will be told to be aggressive and to push up.

Kane will drop deep and that will be a nightmare for them. Pep will look to resolve this problem. He won't ask his CBs to track Kane and leave gaps at the back. He might assign Rodri to man mark him in the box, when they are defending.

However, City with being given time to build up their rhythm do swithc to long balls from Walker and their keeper to Sterling and one side, possibly Mahrez on the other flank/

Spurs must watch for this cross field ball and not have big gaps there.

Lloris has made a few pen saves in the last few encounters and I won't rule out him having to save another pen today.

Sterling will go down when he'll be cutting in from their left side and he will be told to target Aurier for a silly tackles!

A game of chess and physical exertions.

It will be a tight affair, but I do feel Spurs have the armoury to win the game. I mean Son, Kane, Bale and with Ndombele leading them - that's scary!

Exactly this. They’ve played nobody and still struggled.

Think we might be better against better opposition as long as we don't gift goals today.

Ffs, the same lot were saying the sign of a champion is they don't play well and still get the 3 points?

Some folks live in undergrowth coming up with all sort cr@ps just to make sure it suits their narrative and live in the hope that Spurs will trip up
