Not even in the squad.
Ole claimed illness last match. I wonder what's the reason tonight.
I hope the manager knows what he's doing with this talented youngster
I keep hearing reports that he's a bit "difficult" ... Well duh
This isn't a fecking choir , it's football and at this level players are often said to be difficult but clubs have always managed to work around it with the good players.
I really hope we're not putting a dent on the young and promising career of Greenwood. This could be a real missed opportunity in my opinion.
So let's hope there's a good reason for his omission in the squad tonight.
Greenwood left out again

My comment earlier wasn't really meant to be a criticism of Greenwood. Was more saying that a player needs to take his opportunity. I don't think you could blame the manager for not picking the player if he isn't showing the right attitude. Was more a general comment on such situations

The sort of poor professionalism that Greenwood is showing rarely goes away by itself and very often leads to unfulfilled careers nowadays. If by taking a hard line, hopefully driving home that he needs to cut out the nonsense then the club can really help his career.

*Sorry, that's if stories are to be believed. I thought it was fairly accepted he's acted unprofessionally for a while but reading the comments on here perhaps that's not right

He fecked up on England duty. And he had some laughing gas. Nothing major.

That's the trouble with only taking a fleeting interest in what's going on at other clubs. Happy to be wrong if that's the case

To add I've seen so many talented young players at Arsenal fail in part due to a lack of professionalism and "already made it syndrome". Hate seeing it happen regardless of club

The rest of it appears to be tabloid nonsense. Ole has completely rubbished the stories about his bad attitude and time keeping. And as has been mentioned earlier in the thread, his mate has just committed suicide. It might even be that he hasn't actually been ill and Ole has just given him some time off.

That could very well be the case. Losing a good mate at such a young age would be heart breaking for anybody. Just because he's a footballer, doesn't mean he doesn't experience human emotions
