I hadn't seen the game and not read the comments here so just assumed it was a penalty denied for Albion.

Oh how wrong i wasUnited naturally awarded a pen, and then getting a second chance because they missed the first one, wumming of the highest order. Not even trying to hide the corruption anymore

I would suggest you watch the decisions. All correct, annoying as it may be.

WBA should have had a penalty, United shouldn't. The basic story of that game.

There was a clear foul missed moments before the handball, so no, man utd's pen shouldn't have been awarded. Keepers can't come off there line but pen takers can prance like a pony in the run up ....

There isn't a penalty taken where the keeper doesn't begin to come off his line when the taker is swinging his boot at the ball. Most are never retaken if missed.

This one was blatant though. Pretty sure Rui Patricio saved one recently when keeping a foot on his line.

However, if the ref had been competent then we wouldn't have got that far anyway.

Didn't actually see the United penalty decision but saw the penalties. The rule is ridiculous about being on the line. Fernandes hit a crap penalty and the keeper saved it, whether he is on his line or not it makes no difference, the keeper saves it. Regardless those are the rules and therefore all the decisions were correct. United deserved the win despite being crap. West Brom are in trouble.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It really does make a difference
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you think if he hadn't moved a bit off his line he wouldn't have saved it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes of course it makes a difference. Whether he would have saved it or not by staying on his line is moot. If he wouldn't have saved it then it made a difference. If he would have saved it then there was no reason for him to spring off his line.

Don't really understand the uproar at this point. It is clear as day United are buying decisions, that became obvious last season with the record number of pens they got and not to mention the amount VAR favoured them.

On the bright side, these kind of results keep Ole in the job and while that happens no amount of match fixing is going to be enough for them to challenge anything.

Aye.

yeah I cant believe how people have missed whats gone one since that debacle for utd in the cl.

seriously hard work keeping agent ole in a job. Woodward incompetence and a dodgy ref or 3 and we are all sat laughing at utd in January.
