OK now that the dust has settled

on yet another Spurs win. As predicted a routine three points against City. I make that 20 points from the last 24 on offer, six wins and two draws. In reality in should have been eight straight wins. But hey ho, doesn`t make a lot of difference, Spurs are still top of the table.

Can sit back today, and watch all the pretenders slogging it out, to try to make up ground on Spurs. Worse way, Spurs will be 2nd, with another tricky game ticked off.

Going back to yesterday, the defence was magnificent, but a special shout out to Eric Dier and Serge Aurier, not everybody`s cup of tea, but they were absolutely at the top of their game, hardly put a foot wrong, bar one misplaced pass from Serge. Add in a great 90 minutes from Moussa Sissoko, another player, who is unfairly singled out on a regular basis, and there you have it in a nutshell, the unsung heroes of the team coupled with the several truely world class players, and you have a winning machine competing on all fronts.

Struggling to see who will be beating Spurs going forward, they are such a well balanced, and well oiled outfit now. Chelsea up next, and yes they are showing a bit of form, but they haven`t met or beat any team of Spurs quality this season. All of their wins have come against the so called cannon fodder of the Prem. They have failed to beat teams like Southampton, United, WBA, all teams that Spurs have dispatched this season, a couple of those with more than a bit to spare. Spurs also do have the luxury of having beaten Chelsea already this season from the Carabou with a reserve team up against their pretty well full strength XI, albeit on a pens, but a win is a win.

Anyway one game at a time, and Ludogrets up next, to cement top spot in the Europa Group. No team should be taken for granted, but Spurs should be winning this, rest a few players up before the Chelsea game.

Oh and Harry yesterday, is he the best all round striker in the world right now? I can only think of Lewandowski that comes anywhere near him. Sonny as well right up there with the very best. And when you can bring players off the bench like Bale and Lo Celso to win or seal matches, then you know you have a great squad. Defensively sound, goals all over the pitch, world class goalie. A combination of players made in heaven.

Surely there are no doubters left now (Sizzle apart, he is becoming the boards Trump, in complete denial). Must be sad to not be enjoying this great time to support the manager and the team. Anyway most are now on board with Jose and the team, and 12 months on from his appointment, it was absolutely the right call from Daniel Levy, so a shout out to him as well.

Have a great weekend fellas.

I look at Spurs and I think what an ordinary team.

You have Son and Kane and then utter meh players. Yes those two are brilliant and can win games for you agst any team on any given day, but they can't carry an average team to a title.

The team under Poch a few years ago was much stronger than now.

Enjoy your time in the sun while it lasts.

Also Spurs have probably the best left back in Europe,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since when have Spurs signed Alphonso Davies?

Ordinary teams do not top their leagues, top their european groups or reach the last eight of a domestic cup competition.

Dry your eyes fella.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry just my viewand it can be queried at the end of the season with validity, but not at this stage of the season. Spurs have a joke of a record for winning trophies. Even your manager said as much. Until Spurs actually do win something of note, they remain ordinary.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Such dumb logic
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah cause you have so much experience of watching your team win titles. Suddenly, you know what it takes and what it looks like

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Like Chelsea knew what winning titles was like until they were financially doped.

We only have a week to wait to see if that is true or not

A week of wetting his bed coming up for Frank.

Christine makes him sleep in the spare room in the week leading up to games vs Jose, poor little lamb!

Hasn't Lampard beaten Jose 3 times out of 4?
