Disappointing that we weren't able to give them a game. Just need to dust ourselves down and ensure they haven't burst our bubble like they did last boxing day.

Only a first-half radio commentary available for me followed by a scramble to get in front of the box for the remainder.

It didn’t bode well from the start. I remember them mentioning Barnes’ opportunity being blazed over or wide and then very few chances being created after that. I think you chaps have just about summed it all up but it should be said there were some very good rearguard actions out there today. Highly commendable. Those alone, of course, won’t always win you the points.

We definitely seem to have a mentality problem. No doubt that Liverpool were good, but we looked nervous and uneasy from minute one, like we feared not taking a chance presented to us through Liverpool injuries and then panicking when they still played well. It's one thing getting beaten, but we weren't competitive either with or without the ball.

All a bit Spursy and reminiscent of the end of last season. It's something I think Rodgers needs to review.

It wouldn't matter if VAR had given us a penalty early on, we weren't getting anything out of that game. It was all headless chickens. I couldn't work out what the tactics were because the players panicked and didn't stick to them.

I disagree, totally changes the game if we go one up, guess we’ll Never know though now.!

Kasper kept the score respectable. Might have been five or six . On the other hand, had Barnes equalised at one nil, who knows. But that’s footy for you. Liverpool were up for it last night that’s for sure. We badly missed our first choice full backs last night ( Ricardo and Castaneda ) .

Barnes with another big missed chance, the guy is super talented, but he really needs to work on his finishing, it's costing us.

I’m just reading about the handball rule changes. Sensible but why on earth are we having so many rule changes so regularly - I’m hearing that offside is going to change also.

Start involving people from the game and get this right first time around!!!
