I agree Bielsa has done a lot for football and had an influence on other managers. Thay doesnt make him a contender for World Coach of the Year for 2020 because he won the Championship though.

"I don't think he'll come near winning it, but FIFA are looking at what he's done for football and nothing else!.."
No idea why I wrote that!..

And by the way, I dont rate articles; so it wont have been me who gave you the one star. Ratings on here are pointless and I have no idea why you are precious about it.

I agree that ratings on here are slightly meaningless and apologies if I falsely accused you Tamwolf. But the point is, as others have expressed, it's the effect that Bielsa (and his team) has had on the football world that has merited his inclusion on this list. Tune into Sky, MotD, 5Live or any other football platform and the team that has everyone excited is Leeds – and that's backed up by all the stats that technology now provides. Listen to what every other manager says about him and his achievements – I can only guess that's what FIFA has done. The guy is a breath of fresh air and football needs more like him.

Well said Lorra!..
Odd, but a Wolves fan coming at Bielsa, was it not Wolves that brought half of Italy's, or was it Portugal's or Spain's players in to win Promotion and some thought they were cheating?..
Their then manager couldn't do it with what he had so had to bring in a lotta top class players from other leagues, something Bielsa hasn't done!..
The list of players/managers that look to Bielsa as their mentor is I'll not say the longest for any coach, but it comes close to being!..
And it seems FIFA know that!..

He did it with Costa and Douglas who were at Leeds when they were promoted.
Only Neves was signed for a lot of money. We got Ruddy and Bennett on frees and the Jota, Bonatini and Boly were on loan. The rest of our starting line up were already at the club in Nuno's first season (in which we won promotion).
The fact is, Leeds did nothing special last year. The only reason he is in there is because of his previous reputation. The fact you think he was world manager of 2020 perhaps just shows your own delusions.

I’d like someone to point out a promoted club who have, after nine games, constantly played attacking football, which has been amazing to watch, and have had more possession than every opponent bar one (Fulham 50/50).
All this done with a squad that did very little before he arrived. Also without spending huge amounts of money on players.
Anyone?

You've spent £106 million this season.

Then you can take the players we've bought and add them to the 2nd-3rd Div players that are still there!..

There falls your argument!..
You've named 6 players brought in to help win promotion!..
I said you brought players in, and you admit to 6, how many did Leeds bring in after 3rd Div promotion?..
Your manager wouldn't have done it without those players or would he?..
