VAR

Decisions were all technically correct but I am afraid to say it’s ruining the game , I don’t know anyone who thinks the way it’s being used has improved the game .

The decisions were correct as you say.
They all were correct, so therefore I don't really think we have too much to moan about.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree it’s just the constant interruptions spoils the flow of the game , it’s not about whether it’s in our favor it’s just about the enjoyment of the game .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s exactly it. The examining the minutiae, the amount of stoppages and on top of that the mess that has been made of the interpretation of some rules.

It’s definitely a less enjoyable viewing experience
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Its all exaggerated. The report at the end of last season found that the average VAR review will last 1 minute. There is one review every 3 games on average so VAR averages out to 20 seconds of stoppage per game.

If that level of interruption is ruining enjoyment ofnthe game then the people affected are going to be furious when they hear about the 35 minutes per game wasted waiting for throw-ins and corners and goal kicks to be taken.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One VAR review every three games?

You sure about that?

Yep, that is a forgotten stat.

I'm afraid Salah didn't cut his toe nails before the game, I blame him, disgusting hygiene.

Yup - without VAR you'd won 3-0 but would that be right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn’t disagree with the decisions but do you think it’s made the game better ?

It took over 4 minutes to rule out Mcginns goal against Arsenal a few weeks back when nobody would've held it against us if it had stood. The goal keepers sight was slightly restricted but after a 4 minute fine tooth comb investigation it was used to cancel it out.

Laughable dross and time draining boredom that completely ruins a moment that fans love to see. Last weeks blatant penalty non penalty was more embarrassment.

Anyway, all teams have had to put up with it and it's time it got binned off🤢🤮

That cannot possibly be right, 1 review every 3 games equates to less than 7 reviews per game week in the PL.

According to most Spurs fans on here, Liverpool alone get 3 VAR decisions in their favour every game, nearly half the total reviews for the entire game week. On top of that, Spurs get at least 3 decisions go against them every game, meaning that on average there is less than 1 VAR review in the remaining 8 games in the entire game week.

I find those stats hard to believe, but assume they must be fact?? I guarantee that this seasons review will look a lot different.

795 reviews across 2195 matches. So a VAR review every 2.8 matches or so.

You don't really believe that do you?

Surely the Spurs fans on here are more trustworthy than some unknown group motivated only by the money their 'research' brings in.

Right, do you have any evidence to suggest this piece of research is not accurate? Or is this like how Trump thinking the election was rigged?
