This is a 12pm lunch time K.O and thus I assume will be live on Sky?
I'm merely filling in while Rev' seems to taking a Sabbatical [if your reading this I hope you're O.K?]
Another tough fixture for Forest where playing at home secures no advantage in the present circumstances.
Swansea have had a couple of players out due to Covid, Striker Gyokeres, 22, and winger Garrick, also 22, are self-isolating. Yokeres, who is on loan from Premier League Brighton, remains in Sweden, while Swansea say Garrick is "following healthcare guidelines".
A Ayew is there top scorer with 6 goals, they have 6 victories from 13 games. Bidwell is another to watch out for with 4 assists. Ayew has been injured & may not play.
This is his second stint with the swans after a £20.5M pound transfer to West Ham 18 months ago. He scored 12 goals in his one full season for Swansea. He resigned on deadline day for an undisclosed fee [ so less then]
Ayew scored in their 1-1[60 minutes] draw with Wednesday last week.
Both Getan Bong & Luke Freeman will be unavailable tomorrow.
There was positive news as Joe Worrall, Tyler Blackett, Samba Sow, Lewis Grabban and Michael Dawson all trained with the squad on Friday as they continue their recoveries from injury, but Hughton admitted that it may be too soon to see them in action this weekend.
We need a better performance with more self belief, no one seems to be stepping up as ball winner/playmaker in midfield although Yates may develop into that role. We need a fit on form Lewis Grabban desperately.
Houghton needs to get more out of his players, but of course we need goals and then perhaps the confidence will return?

Grabban has agreed to stay till the January transfer window so Forest can bring in a replacement and has to stay fit to earn a final payday with Al Duhail

We seem to have made the classic mistake of signing players on reputation, while letting go tried & tested players who were top 6 quality.
Complete mismanagement by the board it has to said and Houghton will take the rap for it.
If Marinakis sacks him, we will never get another decent manager while he owns the club.

Not sure who on earth would want to come to this shambles....unless of course there a half injured has-been, then of course we’ll pay a premium for such a piece of deadwood and probably give him a 5 year contract ta-boot

Ultimately I don’t think we have a good enough squad/team. Ameobi scores about 1 in 15 games and the same with assists. Lolley has good spells but you can’t rely on him. We are just not that dangerous. Knockeart always looks like he can do something but needs help. Need to get rid of 10 players or so and get a couple of decent wingers in who actually make things happen in the final third.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the squad is plenty good enough. Maybe not to beat teams like Swansea Or B’mouth but good enough to be in mid table.
They deserved a point today on first half performance. But they need to be more disciplined and ruthless.
We had chances to score and didn’t. Swansea did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, we are good enough for mid table and that is prob where we will finish. But to be higher than that we need better players. Wasted loads of money on players who are not that level. They are decent enough, like ameobi but just not good enough to push us on further.
I think CH will get it right. A bit of confidence will really help as you can then nick goals and get a bit of luck.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We do need better players, but we do have better players in the treatment room. Worrall, Sow, and Grabban would bring about a big improvement.

Definitely
If the owner does sack CH, then that would be the final nail in the coffin for me

The failings we showed today have been apparent since before CH arrived. They are not CH’s fault.

Knockaert, Lolley, Arter, Taylor , Samba, McKenna and Grabban are all quality championship players add a fit Worrall and we have more than half a team of quality footballers. We also have the likes of Christie, Colback and Sow, surely this is not a team that should be fighting relegation. I keep saying this, and hoping that at some point the team will ‘click’, but I already think this season is a right off. Hopefully we will stick with CH but there is definitely no guarantee. Imo the team/squad is good enough for at least mid table, but better teams than ours have been relegated.

They've all played well at this level in the past, but now they don't mind losing and that's not good enough; why we've signed Colback I really don't know. He was more interested in his salary from Newcastle than first team football; plus he's been ill/injured and now not worth his place. Who was doing the scouting f.c.s?

RFB some of our recruitment has been awful, the likes of Buchirou and many others makes you wonder what the plan is. Your right that many of those mentioned seem to lack the drive to give their all, unfortunately they are probably the best you can hope for in the Championship. Basically we are paying top wages and getting bang average performances. If I were CH I would be in despair.

Replace Figs and we’ll stop conceding. The guy is a liability. At least we’d have a few more points.
Our midfield is non-existent. Without Sow we have no chance.
None of the wingers are producing. Mighten sits on the bench.
Taylor isolated, but at least he cares.
Swansea looked bang average. Not even close to Bournemouth. With an ounce of flair we’d have won that.
The style of football is awful. I think I’d rather watch the Tyson fight again.
