And that`s how you win titles

Go away to your rivals, and don`t get beat. Whilst I did think Spurs would take all three points today, and with a bit more adventure they may have, nevertheless, they did what all sides chasing the Prem have to do. Go to one of your rivals and don`t get beat.

Spurs go back to the top of the table having played City and Chelsea now in successive weeks. I am sure a couple of weeks back our opponents were banking on Spurs losing both those games. So instead of actually dropping down the table, they in fact lead it.

Going into the weekend with Spurs at Chelsea, and Liverpool at Brighton, I bet Liverpool would have thought they would have come out on top, but no Spurs are showing what a great outfit they are.

Successive clean sheets against both City and Chelsea, and only one goal conceeded in five games now, shows that Spurs are defending very well. They never really looked in trouble at the back, other than on one or two crosses into the box. Hugo then pulled off a great save. He really has gone back to being world class again.

My only beef today, was I think Moura and Bale should have been introduced with 20 minutes to go, and really perhaps gone for the win. But hey ho, who am I to argue with a manager that has Spurs sitting top of the table.

OK on to Arsenal next weekend now. I hate this game, they are rubbish, but it is yet another London Derby, the biggest of them all. It really is a massive disadvantage to London Clubs all these derbies. Liverpool and Man United only have two a season, Spurs will have 10. But it is what it is, and Spurs will navigate their way through them.

Anyway still unbeaten since the first game of the season. Roy Keane was very condescending to say that Spurs were not playing that well, and had dropped points to Newcastle. FFS that was like nearly three months ago. He really is a complete idiot. Spurs massive squad will really start to come into its own as the season progresses. And I was very impressed with Joe Rodon, not an easy game to make your debut, but he did fine, other than the odd little slip up.

And don`t forget fellas, FA Cup draw tomorrow. I will be interesting to see who Spurs draw in their quest for the quadruple.

Long old article for a game where you did nothing of note and played for a draw from the start.

You were outclassed and looked very average. We would be the laughing stock of world football if you somehow won the league. Very average team with two players in top form. That's about it

And your an Arsenal fan how’s the loss again you mug ? you are in a relegation battle, whilst Spurs sit proudly top of the table. God, that must hurt mind the gap

I think Spurs are ruffling a few feathers. The opposition supporters were banking everything into this tricky run of games to scupper Spurs. But it is going the opposite way. Spurs just keep ploughing on.

Very, very salty this evening.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sandy, you and every regular on this board knows that no one banks on a run of games putting paid to s season this early. United were bottom half this morning, the are now 3 points from Chelsea with a game in hand.

Everyone will expect you to blow it at some stage though, it's what you do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nah not this season fella. You may be waiting a while for Spurs to blow it. Chelsea huffed and puffed this afternoon, but never really looked like scoring, bar one shot that Lloris saved well. Spurs I expect to win the return match at WHL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You cannot have watched this match Sandy.
Did you not see that blunder of a head back by Rodon in minute 91 that gave Giroud a wonderful chance on goal?

Yeh, and I also saw the blunder by the Chelsea defence, that almost gifted Spurs a goal.

Point is......Rodon is not adequate cover for Toby.
But he will have to do.

Classic I am blind comment. Guess he turned his telly off before the Chelsea error at the end. Or maybe he just thought "I won't mention that and hope nobody saw it"
