Team for spurs

Exactly the team I would pick too. I want to see AMN with partey and laca as the 2nd striker

Xhaka should definitely not start, basically every game he’s played this season opposition have been able to run through our midfield at will, Xhaka just doesn’t have the legs to cover the ground, especially if we’re playing a back 4. Basically just really need partey back!

Niles was impressive on Thursday in midfield, his pace really helped us, covering ground defensively, and driving runs to support attack, but Whether that translates to a much tougher opposition remains to be seen. I liked the system we played Thursday, we sustained attacks and passing was far more positive, lacazette deeper worked very well. Wonder if it’s something we do again against spurs in what will be a far tougher test, it might not work near as well in the prem. but then again everything we’ve done so far hasn’t worked so guess we may as well try it!

Nelson has to start this game for me, he's more than earned it. Brings energy and urgency to the attack. A much stronger version of Thursdays team. I admit I put AMN in there just because I want to see him and Partey playing together in a hurry. That said though, I'n not sure we shouldn't play him at RB for this one. Although he can help Bellerin out sometimes from MF, I see playing him at RB as the only way to keep Son under wraps. Bellerin damned sure can't do it. Keep Son quiet and it'll likely shut Kane down too.

Apparently partey is in the squad, hopefully he’s okay to start. Nelson has certainly shown more desire to make something happen than Willian, so should definitely be a contender to take his place. Probably need to take him off set plays though, his delivery has been routinely awful for some reason

Yeah fair forgot that one, that was a good delivery. But other than that he’s just hit the first man. True a about the other players, the options are pretty dire. Don’t understand how any pro footballer can only get it past the first man about 20% of the time tbh, you’d think it’d be bread and butter to them. Pepe’s delivery was good when he first joined, but he seems to have joined the first man club, same with Willian
