As gutless and clueless that performance was, it might bring out the Cheque book.We are not changing the manager, no need to. Some managers have been given up to 5 years and we have seen the results. Sadly even if we sign better-attacking players it will be a while until we are as good as the top 2 sides in the league.
I am prepared to wait, Who ever signed Gabriel knows what he is doing. Partey was a given but 3 more signings and we will have a good team.
Have to accept days like this on the way to being a strong side.
Arteta is not going anywhere

Thought we played ok actually just lacking in confidence particularly in attack. The work rate was excellent. Oh well if only we had Kane and Son

We have more problems than just the manager , there seems to be problems above him too

I think there is a good manager in Arteta, a very good one. Granted such performances dont help him but if Edu makes the right signings we will be fine. I would rather be in our position than Spurs who I think are going nowhere slowly

Why was it gutless? You had the majority of the game. A lack of quality in front of goal isn’t a lack of guts

majority of possession had more to do with Spurs than us. They sat back mate and we didnt know what to do with the ball. even our runs in the box, nobody really wanted it.
Look at Ceballos when he comes on to see a different player attitude

Of course Spurs played like cowards that’s their thing now. But it seemed to me Arsenal were determined to try and make something happen and just didn’t quite manage it. Hard to fashion opportunities against a bus as it is never mind when your attackers are out of form

Cobblers on another day we'd have won that. Spurs arw organised and possess 2 great strikers and that was the only difference

I'd be more worried that he's making bad decisions like banking on a player we were told would be out for weeks then suddenly he's fit. It just doesn't add up, its a manager who is under pressure and out of his depth making poor decisions. He should be sacked alone for repeatedly playing Bellerin and Xhaka.

We were never going to win that game from the moment Arteta decided to play Bellerin at RB. He's useless against Son on a poor day for Son. In the middle of a purple patch, it was an immediate no contest. Soon as I saw that, I just started hoping we wouldn't get battered. As it was Bellerin still gifted Spurs both of their goals. First one he's busy gazing, paying no attention at all to Son and is predictably sprung as Son toddles off to his one on one vs Holding. And the second, his poor cutback is what leads to the break. Though that's partly Auba's fault for breaking far post. If he goes near post, Bellerin can play a first time ball andAuba's through on goal. Dunno what the our striker was thinking.
