Naive

Nothing will change with a new manager in my opinion. The personnel we have currently have amassed the most points/wins since Bruno came into the league. We are still struggling to find some consistency.

What needs addressing is our defence more than anything. Also need another DM, Matic and McT will not work together as both as relatively slow and cumbersome.

Ole is a bit naive, but that comes with his lack of experience, he’s learning on the job. There will be a lot of highs and lows, luckily the highs have been better for us in recent time.

We are still lacking leaders, Maguire is not one. Bruno should be made captain, he’s the only one I see fighting until the end and getting a reaction from players.

I’m not down or giving up on this team or in Ole as others are. I can see he has made a difference, and our recent recruitment has been good.

Truth is, we’ve been spoilt by SAF, we had a good 20 years of domination. It’ll be impossible to match that but I see signs that we can get back to the top. It’s a slow process, I guess maybe I’m more patient than others?

It’s nothing to do with lower expectations and just accepting it, get that old ‘we are Man United we can do what we want and win everything’ mentality out of your head. This is the best team post Fergie. I know Jose won things but oh boy, his 3rd season was awful.

Keep the faith, we weren’t good enough and yes we had chances to go through comfortably(should have beaten Istanbul) but it is what it is, Europa is our level for now, just under the elite. We will be back.

I can't speak for other people but for me it isn't about winning the league or CL etc. Obviously that's what I ultimately want but right now I just want to see us play as a team and give teams a run for their money.

To put it on context remember the BHA game? I would happily have been BHA that day. As in lost the game but played good football.

We look lost currently. And I know people keep saying about the record of winning games after going down a goal or two. But that isn't something to shout about for me. It's something we should have learnt from and changed.

We have also won the most games/amassed the most points since Bruno has joined. I think the plans are there, just we seem to not be producing anything until the second half.

I'm not sure what we need right now, but I'm not sure if we can do any better either? Look at the squad, we are about where we should be.

I'm one of those who thinks we have a decent squad. Just think coaching is an issue.

I agree. We have so much potential.

How many times have we fallen behind in games? How many things have we fought back successfully?

Analyse the successful turnarounds and tell me how many minutes we played well in that game. I would say 15, maybe 20 minutes at best. They turn it in to a cup encounter. You just can't get away playing like this in every game over a long season. It's amateurish and shows lack of planning, we are planning to fail!

Playing like that one of these days we are going to get annihilated by someone who takes all their chances before we wake up.

I fear Liverpool or City tearing us a new one this season. We are begging for a hammering, we are set up nicely for it! Too many dopes in the squad who talk a lot and don't see they are a car crash waiting to happen.

Fair post. But this here is waffling of the highest order. The season we came 2nd was our best season. Anyone that says otherwise is drinking the Ole drink

I said best team, not best season.

Best individuals. I think the problem is we aren't a team.

This for me is why the management needs looking at

We don't play as a team.

Too many average players and an average manager makes us an average team sadly.

We're not even a "team" sadly. Bunch of misfits.
