Now that the dust has settled on last

night`s very unfortunate loss against Liverpool. For all Liverpool`s possession, they huffed and puffed, but I never really thought they would score. Hugo hardly had a shot to save all night. Spurs however missed some really, really gilt edged chances to take the game away from Liverpool before their usual late winner. In reality Spurs should have won that game last night. But Spurs still put up a great display, despite missing lots of players. Once the injured players all come back, Spurs should go up another level or two.

But hey ho, it is what it is, and still in second just three points of the top having now played Liverpool, Chelsea and United away. Always Spurs three toughest away games of the season. Throw in also having played City, Arsenal and Southampton, and it shows how difficult a first third of the season Spurs have had.

Not to worried about last night, and frankly that could seriously be Spurs last defeat of the season. Or at worse just perhaps another one. I fully expect Spurs to be back at the top of the table before they take on Liverpool again in January, and could even be as soon as this weekend. Liverpool are OK at Anfield, but very weak away from home, so wouldn`t be surprised if Palace turn them over this weekend, if they play like they did against Spurs last weekend. I also expect Spurs to beat Liverpool in the return match at WHL, lightening doesn`t strike twice, Spurs will not miss so many easy chances as that again this season I wouldn`t think.

My only beef about last night, is that once again Spurs conceeded from a set piece. How many set piece, corners, freekicks, penalties have Spurs conceeded this season? Very few goals have been conceeded in open play. Even last night`s first Liverpool goal was a scuffed shot, and a bit of a fluke.

Of the managers last night, I thought Jose got it spot on, he was absolutely correct about Klopps antics, not becoming of a Prem Manager to be acting like a deranged person on the touchline, and trying to influce the officials. Jose was class as usual. Aceepting defeat graciously.

Anyway we move on to Leicester, and another team that blow hot and cold, although I expect Spurs to be get back to winning ways. So it is onwards and upwards.

COYS

PS And you wonder why I don`t like Liverpool and their muggy fans, have you seen their board last night, it is filled up with hate, they have no class, they cannot accept they won a game, and congratulate the opposition for playing so well, without having to post bile. Horrible set of fans, universally reviled.

Lloris made more saves than Allison didn't he? I only saw the first half and Spurs were lucky to be level. It did look like you had the better of the second half to be fair.

Lloris saves were like backpasses. They were very routine.

Yet you say we were fortunate to win. You were fortunate we didnt have our shooting boots on too. Much more lucky than we were since we dominated everything.

Spurs motto is what? To dare is to do? Wtf is maureen dare to do? Only one team dared to play football 😂

If spurs go 2-1 up in second half undeservedly as it would have been as it was for them going level at ht. doesnt mean theyd have won the game thered be 30 mins + left. Liverpool record of late goals and getting points from losing positions has been the best in the league for years now. We go up a through the gears when we need to usually.

Also of these 3 glorious chances spurs had 2 were practically same passage of play and the other would have been ruled out for handball by sissoko. Also their equaliser couldve been ruled out for offside on another day.

We had the best chances, and would have been out of sight if Bergwjin could finish and Kane had some luck with that reactionary effort.

Once again Pool got lucky with a fluke deflected goal and a free header thanks to a free kick not given for a clear foul on Dier.

Not to mention Robertson and Fabinho being let off blatant yellow cards by the Pool loving referee.

The only surprise on the night was Varpool were not gifted a penalty.

"Honestly with supporters like you, I am glad I am new to this board, and trying to add a bit of positivity. It`s a game mate. Not suicide watch. Grown men beside themselves with grief over a football match. You are obviously new to football."
