Welcome back Pablo!

8 minutes played
12/13 successful passes
4/5 successful final third passes
3 ball recoveries
2 assists

I saw this stat on Twitter – if accurate, it makes you realise how much we've missed and need Pablo Hernandez. He's so reminiscent of that other godlike figure Gordon Strachan, and a massive influence and talent we just cannot afford to sideline. Welcome back Pablo!

He can still turn it on.

No doubt Pablo a brilliant player when he's on it.. one the best in terms of quality we have.

not sure he'd be in first 11, prob best used as a super sub to keep him fit and free of injury.

he's a quality player we need around.

There's been some nice moments in the season so far and Pablo's cameo was right up there.

Had things have gone differently and for whatever reason we hadn't seen him again that would have been a big regret given his contribution to the club.

If he is used in the right way he could be a real wildcard for us in certain situations. He has still got a brilliance about him that works at any level when we get it right with him.

Some might say he hasn't got the legs but in the game he was substituted, he was going like a train - hence the hissy fit he threw. But even so, after we've run teams ragged for an hour, he's easily going to compete with tired opposition. I'd also say he has fewer off days than virtually anyone else in the squad so you can more or less guarantee impact when he comes on.

perfect guy to come off the bench and give us some class for the last 30 minutes.
put the game to bed, well done pablo.

Sub is the ideal role for him. He played a key part after lockdown in the run in but mostly from the bench in second halves.

When he came on in the Newcastle game, the one thing that stood out for me was how silky smooth he was in play and how quickly he could react and make the perfect pass in a moment.
He really is classy!

Ok, perhaps that's two things that stood out! lol
