Genuine Relegation Battle?

I don’t spend much time discussing our rather irrelevant neighbours these days, but after another defeat do we think arsenal are now in a genuine relegation battle? It’s a mess over there. Poor squad. Manager out his depth. Fans poisonous on social media. No discipline and now we are in tier 4 there will be no fans to help them out in the ground. And to top it off they even got rid of that horrible arsenal club shop outside Finsbury Park station.

Fancy them to survive the drop, but not by much ... thoughts ?

I think Arsenal will finish 11th. https://www.goal.com/en/news/man-utd-would-be-title-challengers-under-arteta-solskjaer-should-/1f4h1y4qot6qjzpqc7filt06s

West Ham went down in 2003 with arguably a side as good as this Arsenal one. I suspect they'll do enough in the end though.

He like most of the cretins on AFTV are loaded because of all of you. He could smash a different phone every day and it wouldn’t dent his wallet.

When Chelsea (2015), Dortmund (2014), Barcelona (2003) and United (last season) were in a similar position in the table relegation was never likely as they had too much individual quality and at worst that would give them a mini run which would steer them safely clear, and it did.

With Arsenal they don't have that guarantee as they don't have the same star quality now Auba looks done, the last time i thought there was a chance we might see a relegation from a big club was Liverpool under Roy.

I wrote an article to this effect a week ago and was for the most part ridiculed.

They have lost 8 of 14. Extrapolate over a season and it doesn't make good reading. Their squad is bang average and they have a hugely inexperienced manager that has never dealt with this sort of thing in his career to date.

I most certainly think they are in a dogfight.

It's not to long ago that Spurs were in virtually the same position, like Spurs Arsenal will survive.

That was after 8 games sonwe are talking about Xmas and you lot literally in a relegation battle, hilarious

Still time for Spurs to join them. One or 2 more defeats and the wheels will come off as they usually do in Jose's 2nd season at any club he has managed.

Much as I'd love to see it, they're not going down. If they find an experienced manager and get him a player or two in January they could still finish in the top half. If Arteta stays.. 12-14th maybe.

If any Spurs manager lost 8 out of 14, would you back him or want him sacked ?

Pretty sure pochs record towards the end was similar if not worse and he had to go, although if it would have been me I would have been too soft to sack him and probably given him more time.
