I saw that this was trending on twitter last night.
It's ludicrous.
I think that the commentators don't help here. I was sick to death yesterday of commentators saying the following:
It's great to watch
It's so brave
You know they going to keep going and trying to score
It's great to watch, but its training ground stuff really
It's great to watch but naive to think you can play every team that way
It's so entertaining
I've watched Leeds loads over the last couple of years
etc etc
It starts to become patronising and does a real disrespect to what Bielsa has achieved here, and given the time, will achieve as new transfers really bed in and next players are added.
I hope this negative sentiment doesn't find its way to 49ers or Radrizanni and that Bielsa feels complete support from club and fans.

All Leeds fans know that Bielsa has turned a bunch of at least perceived EFL also rans into a coherent footballing unit that plays Football we can be and are proud of.
Just to reiterate what I said the other day the rise of LUFC is an on going project - we sure as hell don't want another boom and bust Ridsdale scenario - No No No
FInishing anywhere other than the bottom 3 then building on it is 100% success for me.
A massive thank you to Marcelo Bielsa, players and staff at Elland Road - MOT.

For the neutrals Bielsa’s Leeds are one of the best things to happen to the PL in a while, just entertainment

...and to all you true Leeds fans , the ones sticking with all at LS11 through thick and thin.

Our return to the premiership has brought many things and lazy cliched ill researched pundits and media attention is one of them. Sadly there are plenty of thick 'want it know' fans out there and like the attention going on Talksport etc. Often they are the loudest type and get trends going etc but when you raise your head from your facebook, twitter attention seeking diatribe know that you absolutely don't speak for fair minded and Leeds fans and are an embarassment.

Well said Rob, these idiots are not the true fans who have endured years of mismanagement and poor football.
We should all enjoy the ride, and if we stay up I will think that a good season.
If we do go down, which I don't think we will, these " fans will vanish.

Would you have rather lost 6-2 the Bielsa way or won 1 nil playing defensively and being well organised?
Ive always preferred the former, but at a point you need to get the balance.

Shaun are you serious?
Organised and a 1-0 victory any time. Can't believe any sane person would take a 6-2 thrashing instead.

Let's try and put some further context to the OP.
Turn back to 31st January 2014.
Why you may ask? Simple, a certain eccentric Sardinian was being chased around the West Stand Car park and the crazy world of Leeds United had hit an absolute low point yet again and depressingly we found ourselves as the laughing stock of the footballing world.
Fast forward to 15th June 2018 - yes the day Marcelo Bielsa walked through the door.
The comparison of the club 2004 to early 2018 against the period since the arrival of MB is so staggeringly different its virtually unbelievable. ( I do concede that Radz and others have to be given credit ).
My point is constructive criticism is always healthy with the operative word being constructive but please remember where we were and where we are now, and just as importantly if we continue in the same vein, where we are likely to go - direction onwards and upwards - not so much belief but extrapolating based on the historical trend since June 2018.

What's annoying me is this idea that if we were playing defensive, park the bus football, that we wouldn't suffer any heavy defeats. That Bielsa is getting it wrong by attacking and should be more pragmatic.
Burnley get battered every season by 4/5/6 goals by Man City. Palace shipped 7 to Liverpool. Whatever system we play, we will suffer some heavy defeats because we have a vastly inferior squad to most of the league.
Wish the fans were at games just so we could back Bielsa and this team, because no one at the ground would be criticising this lot. Anyone who doesn't support Bielsa is free to turn on Wolves vs Burnley tonight and watch what they're craving.

article for me!
Here's the thing:
* Playing boring defensive football does not guarantee 1-10 victories or losses.
* Playing attacking football guarantees fun and exciting games - 14 so far this season?

** 1-0 victories **
