This season if we are to be crowned "premier league champions" then it will be perhaps our greatest ever top flight title award.
Just think of the problems we have had to overcome, first-choice defensive pairing Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have been ruled out for months with serious knee injuries and a succession of first-team regulars were sidelined following positive COVID-19 tests.
New signings Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota have been hit by injuries, and there was the unforgettable 7-2 defeat at Aston Villa in October; the mersey derby at goodison park in which afterwards the officials announced they had errored to such an extent the VAR official was demoted. A whole plethora of injuries throught in which we had to field a DM in defence, a 19 yr next to him and a teenager at RB!!
From back to front we have lost world class player after world class player then the VAR decisions appeared to just go against us.
Amongst all this we maintained our home record and have lost just once in the league so far; however, considering the above imo it will be our greatest ever title win.

Liverpool are the best side in the league even with injuries, silly to suggest they’re not, also all teams have dealt with injuries this season, chelsea alone have had pulisic, ziyech, James, chillwell, silva, kante, gilmour, Hudson odoi and probablt others I’ve forgotten about.
Will be an achievement none the less.

OK so Liverpool actual titles.
1977. Close to treble. league and first European Cup.
1986. double..Dalglish first season and the season after hysel also.
1990. for obvious reasons but this team turned round-trip and got a then record 90 points.
2020. 99 points, setting all sorts of record and then survived covid
anyone else wany to add as a golden oldie
20/21 seems tame in comparison already.
