I like the LB options we have... Shaw isn't as bad attacking as people make out and Telles isn't as bad defensively as people make out.

Our defensive woes are a collective, not individual issues.

I think a lot of it stems from further up the pitch tbh.

The forwards are awful at pressing, it's like pressing zones than to actually win the ball. Fred and McTominay are combative but don't follow runners well or cut off passes into the forwards.

I think Shaw is tidy on the ball, but offers no threat in the final third.

Agree on Shaw. Yet to be convinced by Telles

Only just noticed we're the 12:30 game on Saturday, why couldn't we have the Sunday game if we have a cup game on a Weds?

tbf, we then get the late tuesday game... so it balances out a little.

City played last night, then saturday, then monday...

I think our's is a bit better (just)

City have West Brom though and only played Arsenal, Leicester and Everton are tough!

Definitely need to rotate tonight, that Leicester game will be hard enough without us getting off to a sluggish start again.

Wolves (our opponents next Tuesday) actually play the evening game on Sunday 27th.

Massively unfair on them but I think we've actually lucked out a bit with the Xmas fixtures. Would expect us to make 9 or 10 changes tonight then go full strength vs Leicester and Wolves

Our squads feels a lot higher quality these days too... The bench on the weekend was ridiculous!
