We've played Chelsea what feels like 5 times in both cups. We've had City now in both semi finals in league Cup. We got PSG then Barca when in his caretaker season. Really tough CL group this season and dropping into Europa Last 32 we actually got a good side in Socieded when other teams in the draw I hadn't even heard of.
Be nice get an easier tie for once.
Cup draws under Ole have been harsh

With a squad at his disposal top 4 shouldn't be a problem.

But Chelsea and Spurs will probably feel the same, while City and Liverpool are pretty much guaranteed top four.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure about this City side tbh, same with Chelsea. Spurs are just Spurs. Son and/or Kane can't carry this side forever, they'll hit bad form soon, hopefully.
The fact we are in the mix without playing particularly is due to the fact the likes of City, Spurs, Chelsea are struggling with consistency. We'll have a similar season to last but with the added bonus of Bruno playing from the start.
Starting to feel optimistic for a change.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And Bruno gets injured?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's hope he doesn't
Doesn't miss many games and has a good record with injuries so fingers crossed.
Whilst Bruno has given us a boost, we need others to step up.
Martial, Marcus and Greenwood have yet to get into top gear this season. Who knows Donny may turn a corner allowing Bruno to be rested now and then!

Every cloud has a silver lining though, as all those teams enjoyed an easy draw.
Winners and losers.

Of course any player can get injured. VVD barely missed a game for Liverpool before this season but Bruno doesn’t seem to get many. He picks up knocks most games but he’s made of tough stuff.

Got to work out how to play without Bruno though, he looked knackered at the back end of last season

We don't care about the away wins, or the 6-2 win against Leeds. It was the imperious 0-0 draw against City that cemented Solskjaer's long-term managerial future.
